Their propensity to consume mosquito larvae makes them a cheap and reliable option to reduce mosquito populations without chemical pesticides. Now the guppy is being of the most popular fish keeps in the Aquarium hobby. There are many beautiful colors and many new ones developed every year by the hobbyist.
