The days are shorter and the air is crisp. We are gearing up for the months ahead. Winter won’t slow us down! While we’ll miss the warmth of summer, the colder months open new opportunities for growth and bonding with our dogs. This winter, we’re focusing on indoor training, honing their skills, and introducing them to Barn Hunt, an exciting new activity to keep their sharp minds and keen instincts engaged.
Of course, living in the Canadian winter wonderland means plenty of snowy escapades, too. Whether it’s bounding through snowdrifts or joining us for frosty trail adventures, our Heelers never shy away from a bit of fun, no matter the season.
Here’s to the change in seasons and to embracing every moment with our incredible dogs. Summer may be over, but at Double MK, the joy, learning, and adventures never stop 🐶
Here is a male we produced from our last Texasheeler litter. His name is Henry 🐶 Appropriately waiting for his owner to come home and shaking his cute nubber lol 😂. Henry’s Merle color is stunning.
We had a trip to Homes Alive Pets and got some raw frozen chicken feet for $5 dollars! A huge bag too! Canadian made 🇨🇦 from Puppy Love Pet Products. Right here in Alberta!! Rogue loved them and so did Zuul. But listen to this crunch! It’s so nice 🐓 Before we had the freeze dried ones. They liked those too but we like raw products as well.
Don’t need music for this one. Here’s the character of our litters lol 😂 Thor and Athena are brother and sister. My brother and his gf own Thor. My cousin Sierra owns Nina. Nina is staying over for awhile. A house full of two Heelers and two Aussies is a handful!

Wanted to share from one of our litters! Athena the Black Tri Aussie is not from one of ours. Athena is from Red Sky Ranch. I’ve featured Thor on here a lot. He is from my female Rogue! My brother and his wonderful girlfriend own Thor 🐶

Thor from one of our litters. Enjoying his new sister Athena from Red Sky Ranch Aussies! 🐶 She’s also genitically clear of all diseases and is half sister to my brothers dog Theoden! Sydney Rowbottom and Novak Forest Radanović are amazing dog owners!
The girls are enjoying their spot 🐶 Rogue can’t be active yet but she’s well on her way to getting better from her broken femur. You wouldn’t even know it has happened but she’s still our bionic dog. Speedy recovery for her. Our blue Zuul has enjoyed swimming the last couple of days! Camping out here at Arm Lake!
Rogue is enjoying her recovery. She’s doing some computer work with me. Her leg is healing from the femur break. She’s bionic dog now and such a silly bionic dog 🐶
