Welcome to Sugar Glider Playgrounds!
I'd like to share a long story short about how gliders became my life. The last thing I expected on an Alberta summer day was to find a sugar glider on the shoulder of a back road along side where I live *that I had moved to a year prior*. Laying there barely moving I scooped up the distressed animal and bolted for the vet not knowing what type of critter it was at the time, just that it needed help. I got in touch with a lovely lady who had a girl glider*Boo needing a home and she came with a proper cage. I didnt know much about intros at the time but the two hit if off the first time meeting, grooming and cuddling each other, it was absolutely perfect! Once I felt more confident with caring for them and had all the right stuff and diet set up, I got into toy building for them and absolutely loved it. I thought it would be nice to expand the colony, and just when I went looking, a lady reached out and had two adorable boys *Oden and Oscar. After getting them neutered and dealing with Odens absess tooth, they instantly took to the girls and are now a colony of four! It was a very rough start, and it took a lot of learning and am still continuing to learn but is well worth it all. Lola is now making small jumps and g
