Finding it hard to describe the feeling I have after this clinic in Alberta. I was nervous to appear here, apprehensive.

Once here, I watched the lights come on in the horses eyes. And in your eyes.

You realized that you are the people, you are the community that will drive change towards better life for horses in your community.

I adore you.

Emily Frost, a talented, studied, competent and kind force of nature, brought me here and I have found family with her and Kyle . Thank you.

Reece at LRCA Ranch for hosting us, thank you for creating a safe pocket in a harsh world and welcoming us. You were a fabulous host, and thanks for heating up the arena for us!

Lori Halliday, my friend and colleague, for now being present at a clinic of mine for the sixth time, this time to simply support me, and all of us, in the process of going past the surface and going to the heart of the matter. Lori, thank you for setting the bar so high in the way you show up for me, and for us.

More and more, I am finding out how important it is that we find our voices. No tone policing. No false virtue. No cancel culture. Just accountability, responsibility, truth. More truth.

And then, look to our horses. Just our horses. And devote ourselves to the tools and skills we need to help them, train them and love them.
