This week I had the pleasure of re visiting a species I kept for 10 years and I enjoyed every minute of it. Meet the Goils-Salem, Skidmark and their cheeky feline sister Luci! As you can see these goils are spoiled! And it’s no secret that Luci thoroughly enjoys catnip!

As per usual this time of year, I got to visit Disco and crew! Disco is the lovely cat that belongs to a good friend of mine. She also has tarantulas and geckos. Meet Zaphoid, Death Nugget, Evie, Gustaph and Go-A. Plus Salicious B Crumb, Fraggle Rock her second gecko was shy and a cheeky Disco sneaking into the tarantula room and getting a hasty removal!

The last time I had Wally sleepovers, it was just Wally.. meet Pluto on the left, a tiny Yorkie friend and his “sister” Riese, a Giant Schnauzer. These 3 will keep me occupied until Wednesday :)

We see this a lot... pet parents searching for a pet sitter or dog walker, but the first comment is: "I'm looking for someone who doesn't charge an arm and a leg..."

When you consider the pet-care experience and specialized training professional pet sitters and dog walkers have and the customized care they provide, these pet-care professionals are worth FAR MORE than they charge.

Of course, you have to work within your budget, but lowest price does not mean the best option—and professional pet-care providers should be fairly compensated.

Remember, you get what you pay for—and your pets deserve quality care!

The first time I saw someone do this I was shocked.
I thought it was a one off, clearly it isn't and social media "influencers" have started to spout this as a "solution".
When I first saw this a few years ago, I could see the skin under the belly twisting and stretching while a lead was tightly pulled up from above.
There was bruising and this dog was certainly in pain.
All because someone wanted a quick way to teach a dog to walk beside them.
Companies even sell carabiners that encourage using this method.
What people may not realise is this can kill a dog.
The belly is not well protected...at all.
The intestines are right there and there are no bones in that area to protect those precious and vital organs.
That constant pressure and squeezing can and DOES cause serious abdominal issues.
PLEASE don't be tempted to follow this trend if you have seen it on social media.

Wally is already a regular of mine but he’s got a gal pal staying with him for a bit… Meet Riese, a giant Schnauzer. She’s lovely and walking them together is a breeze as they do not pull 😇

Making some new pals until August 10.. my first turtle client, Trinity is really just a water puppy!
