my tears fall, I pray for your spirit. I cry for you. you did not deserve to have people drive by you walk by you and do nothing for you. starved to death. I've seen this over and over, through the years. prayers for all the animals we as rescuers cannot get to in time.

UPDATE::: he did not make it. We did everything we could to get to him in time ,
The other rescue that made that drive out for him. Is getting him cremated. And will have his paws done. He will receive the care he deserved. He was loved and warm for his last minutes.

there has been no update for this dog since around 6 PM yesterday. We are still waiting to hear - any news. After the voice message from yesterday. I don't have much hope. It's been a rough night, while we wait to be updated.

Please pray for the gray dog is in very very terrible condition. I had no idea he was this bad- 😞 All three dogs made it into the transport. We still need intake for the mama and her pups- we have tentative temporary placement. We need permanent placement,

The gray dog is very very sick.. you can't see it in the pictures as much as I person but he is skin and bone. And missing half of his fur on one side of his body. Paws up - picked him up and has him now he's not doing well. They will do what they can for him- and he's on his way to receiving vet care and attention. He's a strong spirit this boy. Thank you creator for getting him this far. Please pray for him.

Upon furthur inspection of the letter, I don't really feel good about this. It doesn't give information it's really vague: could really go either way.

Please share the High level - Fort Vermillion area or Lacrete area. We need transport for this dog from the Caribou mountain travel centre to Lacrete or high level if there's a garage for overnight? Transport can head out in the morning and be there by 2 PM alberta today. Dimensions of the kennel to bring him out- and him warm by the heater. Waiting for rescue

Anybody with a truck want to drive out to the nation with me it's a 20 -24 hour round-trip I want to go help secure this dog.

CAN ANYONE GO MONDAY

I have a very reliable transporter if it wasn't for the terrible roads and weather conditions I know she'd be on the road already, but today we are cancelling the transport that was planned for the hairless dog and the pregnant mama. Transporting safety comes first , she can't keep going out and helping me get dogs if something were to happen.. we need to keep her safe.
we are still making arrangements. Either this week mid week or Saturday We have a kennel collar leash harness on order for the volunteers to to pick up and use to help secure the dog. I was told recently he's skittish- had I known this earlier I would have made these arrangements for the kennel leash and collar earlier, but I didn't know until yesterday -We are planning for next Saturday ( this transport has a job ) she may get a day off during the week. We are unsure. the next time she can go is Saturday, if the roads can be in better condition.we hope to update the safety of this dog soon
FYI - Anyone is welcome to plan and make the trip up there, we will facilitate this connection. With anyone who can help before we are able to, This dog needs rescue now- asap. There was another rescue planning a transport but it looks like the roads have slowed their progress as well.

Update: the transport is not going today - the roads are not in a condition for a small car. We have a kennel

I need a dog kennel ASAP in high level. Anyone in the high level or Fort vermillion area have a dog kennel to lend the rescue or give the rescue for a very sick dog that needs help now.
If anyone that donates could contact the Canadian tire or the little farm store and get us one? This dog won't be caught until I have a kennel for him

This is just not right-

Just a quick comment for all the people who are laying this at the feet of race, culling dogs like this was/is a common practice through Alberta, including in white communities. We don’t hear about it much in the cities, but white farmers keep packs of dogs that they don’t feed in order to keep them more vicious, and eventually they run out , pack up and threaten or kill a kid. Then all the good old boys pick up their guns, and go shoot any dog they see. I lost a dog that way in Provost. This isn’t a race thing, so maybe we can leave the racism out of it.
To be clear, I am not saying I approve of this practice. I am simply saying it’s not unique to reserves, so maybe a little less hypocrisy. Written by Canada Cat -

This quote below has always stuck with me, however without the financial ability to do more than this- what is the solution? I'm making a change , doing what I can when I can, one dig at a time,, all these people making negative comments none of you donate to helping a- not to my efforts out on this nation - of all of the people commenting none of you have taken dogs from me - it's a lot of money to do this- I've given up multiple vehicles and my home - I've spent money I don't have trying to make a change money that I don't have ,money that the nation doesn't have.. they struggle to keep up with basic needs. For their people. The animals are last in that equation, as sad as that is- and as much as it is painful to see -it is the reality of systemic racism. As I've said many many times until we can address the real issue how the people are treated. We will have a hard time trying to solve the Animal issue.

The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated. I hold that the more helpless a creature the more entitled it is to protection by man from the cruelty of humankind.

So today I saw that it's a leak in the hose. I found the leak as I added the second jug of coolant- It looks like the problem is a leak in the hose ,so he said he can fix the leak for $200 but that might not be the only problem - but it's a quick fix and I don't really have anyone else to do it so hopefully that will fix the problem UPDATE: 100$ raised for this job so far

She gave some dry food to mama and the puppies went after it. Mama didn't eat or drink for three days so she probably provided too much nutrition to them.

UPDATE: these pups have been picked up. They are on the way to their new beginings - you can advocate for these puppies, they are desperate for intake. I had made arrangements for them today and yesterday. The lady canceled.. after I contacted her, to confirm. this happens a lot I will go through and make arrangements with somebody and they will message and say they can do it. So then here I am ,I was thinking it's taken care of so I stop working on it. and then they'll cancel. Last minute. I really wish people would think before they offer. If you can't do it - don't offer you're only hindering the rescue of these four puppies. And with the weather change. This delay could be deadly, [email protected]
