The Canadian Animal Blood Bank joined us at Millwoods East Veterinary Clinic for the second time and we made the news! Not all hero’s wear capes. In our case Sully, Blu, WallE, Athena, Chevy and Michael wear collars. Each donation helps 3 dogs and their families and today, these brave boys and girls will help save a total 18 lives! Let’s all take a moment to thank these good dogs. 🐶❤️

The new travel requirements for dogs entering the USA have been causing much confusion. These are the latest requirements from the CDC. If your dog has been outside of Canada or the USA in the 6 months prior to entry, there may be further requirements. And don't forget individual state and airline rules, plus requirements for re-entry to Canada.

We are proud to say that we partnered with The Canadian Animal Blood Bank and had a very successful first time blood drive at Millwoods East Veterinary Clinic! We had 4 very good and brave dogs participate to donate blood.
Each donation can make a difference in the lives of 3 dogs and their families across Canada. Some of the uses for the blood includes, cancer therapy support, rat poison toxicity, immune meditated diseases, surgery, trauma, anemia, parvovirus and more!

So let’s say thank you to Dodger, Sully, Xena, and WallE! And of course, Dr. Leger’s dog, Fernie showing us a demonstration on how it’s done. ♥️
