Don’t forget! This upcoming Saturday February 1, we are hosting our first (of many) nail trimming events! We have times available from 1130am-12pm, and then again at 2pm-3pm.
If you are interested in booking an appointment, let us know by calling the store and we will put you down for a time.

Each appointment runs about 15 minutes, but could be able to run early, or late depending on the pets.

Unsure about booking with us this time around and want to come and meet Jenn yourself, come down and say hi and see how she is with other pets to give you the peace of mind it is the correct fit for you and your furry friend!

Hey everyone! Marty here! Don’t forget we are hosting an adoption event in store this SATURDAY January 25 from 12-3! Will be on sight with some adorable animals for you to come and meet!

Also, don’t forget about me. I am still looking for my forever home as well. Remember I am 4 years old, love to be held and cuddled; will gladly jump on your shoulder for a ride around the house. The dogs that have come In I don’t mind as long as they respect me.

We had an amazing turn out for our last night and it is all thanks to you! We raised $300.00 for . A few of the puppies already have applications in for adoption! There may not have been much yoga taking place, but there was definitely some healing of the soul by playing with these adorable pups!

Thank you to the volunteers from that made it possible to do this type of event. Keep an eye out in store and on Facebook for more upcoming events. You never know what fun we will be having in the future.

Hey everyone! My name is Marty! I just got to the store and I need to make sure the staff are doing their jobs properly.

Enough about the staff; I am 4 years old, just getting settled into the store but already I’m excited to be here and love on absolutely everyone that comes through the door. I am not a huge fan of other kitties, and I’m not sure about dogs.

The staff working tonight say I’m very sweet, and that I have the brightest green eyes ever. Don’t believe them? Come meet me in person. I was not very cooperative in having my picture taken because I just wanted all of the cuddles.

Are you looking for something fun to do on a Sunday night?! How about playing with some puppies and trying yoga with Second Chance Animal Rescue Society - Alberta !!

All you need to do is bring a yoga mat, purchase a ticket for one of the two time slots. $25.00 gets a ticket into the event, and entry into the store after hours. All the tickets purchased ($25.00 cash purchased in store) goes directly towards the rescue and helps them purchase things that they are in need of.

With the increasing pressures on rescue organizations across Canada, the Calgary-based charity Canadian Animal Task Force have recently rescued 45 cats in one day in response to a plea for help. To help with the influx of cats in their care, Pet Valu has donated $5000 worth of Performatrin Ultra Grain-Free Original Recipe Cat Food through the Companions for Change program.
