These posts never get easier 💔 Yesterday we lots a very special member of our grooming family albert or my albes as I called him,he held a special place in my heart as he trusted me to insure he was comfort throughout his groom❤️ Albert had issues with his legs and body which made him look and feel like a drunk squishy baby and had extremely bad allergie skin,his parents took amazing care of him bringing him in every 6 weeks for a haircut and keeping on top of his medical! I took this video that I was going to chop up and edit to show how being kind and understanding to a dog like him can make the grooming process relaxing and stress free❤️.But my phone won't allow me to send the whole thing to them...so I wanted to post it for them here so they can see it!!Before coming to me past groomers had a really hard time with him which caused them and him to get frustrated,im so happy that his parents found me and trusted me to take care of their boy over the last few years.You will be truly missed my boy,auntie loves you and your parents loved you so so so much❤️

I woke up to a message yesterday from Darby's mom letting me know Darby had crossed to rainbow bridge a few hours earlier in her arms being told how loved she is.I met darby and betty in may of 2020 through a Facebook group doing wine fairy but for dogs,I had made up 50 bags for cats and dogs with treats,toys,free nail trim coupons and chose 1 dog for a free groom and gift bag.Betty and darby received the free groom and since then she has been one of my biggest supporters❤ Darby was a senior when I met her and aged with grace,she was sweet and gentle always loved having her bath because she new that meant she got her doggie massage!She will be missed by everyone that was lucky enough to have met her,her fur brother and sister,her mom and of course by me.Rest easy darby you're loved ❤

I have had to cancel our trip as I had to drain our bank to pay for tuckers emergency stay and I cant leave my boy like this.So I will have lots of openings coming up... I have talked to the vet school in Calgary and I am waiting to hear back from them to see if they will take tuckers case on.They have a MRI machine and they charge alot less then the very few vets in our area that have a MRI machine. Tucker is making progress so I am praying it was a stroke and with time and rehab/therapy my boy will bounce back.Tucker couldn't use his back legs at all or even sit up on his own,look at my boy go I am so so so proud of him!!!!!!!! his head tilt seems to be going away as well!!!

Happy sunday everyone!! The last 2 dogs of the week have arrived and one of them is Thor,i couldn't have asked for a better dog to finish off the busy week!!! He is full of hugs and kisses and will do anything for a ear rub!!!

Today was one of those hard days for us groomers that we know will come eventually for everyone of our beloved fur clients.... Mya came in today for her last groom,we call them comfort grooms as we do only what is necessary and what they can handle.Mya was diagnosed last week with a aggressive form of face cancer that is spreading shes is only 5 years old,her vet told her mom to give her the weekend and see how she is doing.She was put on new pain meds yesterday that made her feel a ton better so her mom asked if she could come in for a bath one of mya favorite things! We have grown very attached to mya and her sister Lucy over the years,they have stayed with us while their family has gone on vacations and mya has spent many hours on the couch cuddling with her uncle justin.Today we got in lots of cuddles and her and chikko ended up having a hour nap with uncle justin so she could rest after spending time with her other uncle this morning.We love you so much mya 💗❤️💕 Thank you Tara for giving us a few hours with our girl today 💗 Sorry for all the sad posts today,this unfortunately is the reality of being a groomer we care and hurt to when your furbabys are not doing good or pass on 😞
