Hi folks! Remember a bit back I posted that there were changes happening here at the clinic? We’ve already got the new X-ray equipment and it’s amazing! Tuesday is our“ go live” day for the new software system. Please be patient with us as we work our way through the change. Two of us are old and don’t accept change very well.😉. We’ll do our very best to be efficient and keep the swearing to a minimum. Thanks all!

Starting on August 1, all dogs entering the U.S. (including those that left the U.S. and are returning, and regardless of the country they are coming from) must be:
• healthy upon arrival
• at least 6 months of age
• microchipped
• accompanied by a CDC Dog Import Form receipt and required vaccination and veterinary documents.

Additional requirements may apply depending on where the dog has been in the last 6 months and whether or not the dog was vaccinated in the United States.

Have you heard of ACTSS? Alberta Cancer Therapy Subsidization Society helps pet parents whose furries are going through cancer treatments. These treatments are expensive and not everyone has the means to get their pets the help they need. We’re participating in the Paws of Hope Campaign. For a 2 dollar donation you can add a paw print to our window.

Hello everyone! We’re doing some upgrading and changes at the clinic. We’ll be installing an upgraded xray system this coming week and we’re so excited! It’ll make the whole process of imaging much quicker and smoother. We’re also getting a different software system. It’ll be a bit before the switch takes place. Sharon and I decided to change to a more user friendly program and our hope is it’ll make your transactions more efficient. Certainly the training will go well since Liz is super on the computer. It’s because she’s young and Sharon and I, not so much.😉

Anyone recognize this pup? She was brought in to be checked for a microchip(nope) and the person said he couldn’t look after her and was going to let her go back on the street if we didn’t take her. Animal Care and control won’t take her either. Fortunately, a member of the Charwick Hill family has offered to take her temporarily to give us time to find her family.
