Here are a few paw-sitive reminders to help keep your furry friends happy tonight:

🍫 No tricks, no treats (for pets!) – Chocolate and artificial sweeteners like xylitol can be toxic to animals.
🦴 Keep the costumes comfy – Make sure your pet can move, see, and breathe easily.
🚪 Watch the door dashers – With all the trick-or-treat traffic, it’s easy for curious pets to sneak outside.
🕯️ Keep decorations pet-friendly – Candles, cords, and fake cobwebs can be hazardous to paws and whiskers.

This St. Patrick’s Day, we’re celebrating the luckiest charms of all—our beloved pets! 🐶🐱 From their wagging tails to their loving purrs, they bring us endless joy every day.

🌈 A Few Lucky Pet Safety Tips:
☘️ Keep an eye on festive foods – Chocolate, alcohol, and some traditional Irish dishes can be harmful to pets.
☘️ Decorate with care – Streamers, balloons, and tiny trinkets can be tempting (but dangerous!) chew toys.
☘️ ID tags = good luck charms! – Make sure your pet's tags and microchip info are up to date in case they wander off on an adventure.

Did you know that October is National Veterinary Technologist Month? Registered Veterinary Technologists (RVTs) are essential professionals in the veterinary profession, contributing immensely to the health and safety of animals. RVTs play a key role in ensuring the safety and health of our beloved pets and livestock, from the tiniest little mouse to the furry, feathered, hooved and scaled.

We send out a huge Thank You to our RVTs Abbie, Brittany, Shawna and Dianne. We also want to acknowledge our wonderful tech assistants Sam, Brianna and Chyanne. We sure couldn't help pets everyday with out these wonderful team members.
