Billie was in for a spay and we noticed that she was missing a tooth!🐾🦷
To ensure her dental health, we conducted X-rays to rule out an unerupted tooth, which can lead to a destructive cyst in the bone. Keeping our furry friends smiling bright! 😊🦷

🐾 Meet Moo Moo, the resilient cavalier King Charles spaniel and beagle mix! She had a little raisin mishap, but thanks to quick action and our amazing team, she's feeling much better now. She had difficulty vomiting, so after administering medications to make her nauseated, we spun her around in a chair to get things moving. 🌀 She successfully vomited up many raisins and on follow-up bloodwork was healthy! Remember to keep those snacks out of reach, furry friends! 🚫🍇

Did you know that in Alberta, we're fortunate that heartworm disease is not prevalent? However, if you're planning to travel with your furry companion to areas where heartworm is a concern, it's crucial to stay informed and take preventive measures.⁠

- petsandparasites.org has an excellent parasite prevalence map that tells you whether heart worm is a problem in that area.⁠
