Well the time has finally come! We should have the final touches done in the next couple of weeks (we are waiting on some equipment from the states). But we are close enough that I would love to share our exciting journey with you all and invite you to come and see us for our open house! This will be the only time the salon is open to the public to be able to come right into the grooming space and see it…. (We know many have been curious!!)
Coming to join us will be the Alberta Sphynx Rescue who I have a few adoptees from and are dear to my heart. They will be bringing some Nakeds along with for some meet and greets as they are a breed that requires more frequent grooming than most!

When you arrive at the salon you will now see signage on the windows. Please know cats and dogs are still in the same bay at 7338 82 ave. We are working on finishing up everything to open the cat exclusive bay but we are not there just yet!

As of tonight I have sent out emails for all prebooks for 2025. If you have any questions regarding your schedule or were missed and wanted to prebook your appointments please reach out to Chelsea and we will get you all booked in.

Our 2025 books are now open to anyone wanting to schedule future appointments as well!

If we have any clients with nervous pets who are specific about them being our 8 am clients next year…. Please let me know asap! I have finished going through prebooks and am just reviewing the year. The sooner people can let me know if they need a specific day/time than I can try to adjust schedules accordingly before opening bookings up to those who do not prebook the full year.

To all of our valued clients,
Please be patient as I work through your prebooked schedules for 2025. I am currently still working on the expansion and getting the cat exclusive bay ready to open in the coming months so we will have both a dog exclusive bay and a cat exclusive bay side by side in the building!
We will have some scheduling changes for 2025 however that we would like to ensure we give adequate notice to all of you. As of January 2025 we will no longer be working every Saturday in order to ensure our staff have a work/life balance. Our new hours will be Tuesday to Friday one week and Tuesday to Saturday the next. We will however be altering our hours to start at 8 am rather than 9 am to ensure additional grooming spaces to accommodate our clients.
Please note that we will not be scheduling any appointments into 2025 until I have been able to go through all of our regular prescheduled clients in the coming weeks.
We thank you all for your understanding and continued patronage.

Why bath and remove dead coat every 6-8 weeks?!? This is why… this boy and his brother come in every 6 weeks without fail to ensure they stay in perfect skin and coat condition as well as to reduce allergens and all this dead coat from either getting trapped and causing matting or from laying all over their moms house!

Sometimes cats come in requiring a little extra degreasing power than just a normal bath! These two lovely sisters got to hang out for a few extra minutes to let some pe*****te their coats and lift the body oils off before their 3 scrubs in the tub to ensure they went home as the cleanest versions of themselves ❤️ Cats naturally produce quite a bit of body oils that pool at the skin surface and trap coat which will eventually lead to matting. Regular bathing schedules and proper products allow professional cat groomers to make sure your furry friends keep their skin and coat in its most optimal health!
