We want Happy Puppy Stays to be your primary choice for your pup's care and we will ensure the safest and best stay experience but we need you to help us do that. Please follow the following guidelines to help us serve you best:
• book in advance to avoid disappointment;
• avoid same day cancellations;
• let us know as soon as plans change;
• keep in-season females home;
• ensure vaccinations are kept up to date and copies are provided to us; and
• prompt payment to [email protected].

We appreciate all of our clients but disrespecting our Client Guidelines will result in restrictions of our services.

I had so much concern bringing a puppy into the HPS pack and to ensure the transition went well for both my new puppy and my guest dogs.

Blue is our lead dog and has absolutely taken Paxton under his paw and when I see them together like this, I have such a tsunami of love for them both. 💙🧡

AWARENESS: FOXTAIL GRASS

HPS family and friends, I see these weeds everywhere on our travels and walks through our community and they are highly dangerous for our dogs.

One of our very own HPS pack pups, Frank, had to undergo surgery yesterday. Frank is now home and recovering. Let’s please share healing thoughts for a speedy recovery to Frank and her family. ❤️‍🩹

AND PLEASE, let’s all be vigilant as we walk around the community or do yard work and RIP these weeds from the ground (the roots are shallow and an easy pull) and dispose of in the garbage.

Irish sheep herding - fitting share for this Saint Patrick’s Day.

Sage knows her doggy daycare and was insisting to visit us while out on her morning walk with big bro Nitro and her mama.

Fiona’s friends (Jake and Josie) have gone home. Although it’s only been a few hours, she’s missing them and has come in for some cuddles. 🥰

Mo (Mowgli) has been with us for the past few weeks but his family comes home today. I already miss him and I just don’t know what Teddy and I will do without our fave cuddly buddy. We ❤️ you Mo!

It may appear a bit squishy but this is Ted’s fave spot. 💛

Today would’ve been Bayleigh’s 14th birthday so to celebrate my sweet-sweet boy, I share precious moments of his wonderful life. 💙

Although Jack loves spending time at HPS, he only wants to eats at home. Jack’s here for sleepovers and on meds so we need to get food in his belly and nothing has ever seemed to work until… Alakazam! 🎩 🪄 I knew I had some more tricky-trix in my bag to help Jack out. 💙

A moment in a dog sitter’s life…

Just in case anyone’s wondering….

Finnigan has been struggling with Bayleigh’s passing but this morning I’m sure they were having a play date in Finni’s dreams. 🥰 🐾🐾💙💚🐾🐾

HPS welcomes a new little friend to our pack. Teddy is a snuggler but independent enough to hang out with the other doggios (mostly from an observational 👀 standpoint). Welcome to the pack little Teddy!

Who I am and what’s this doggy business...

Primarily, I am a dog-mom to two amazing beagle boys but I am also an experienced dog sitter, trainer (behavioural and physical rehabilitation), and have provided foster-care to rescued dogs (Beagle Paws Rescue) for many years. I understand doggy behaviours (toys to giant breeds) and know what to watch for to encourage positive doggy behaviour.

I also understand the challenges dog-parents go through trusting someone to ensure comfort, care and safety for their dog’s care -- be it during the day, overnight or short/long-term stays.

I have been providing home-based doggy dayplay and overnight stays for the past few years. My experience and knowledge with dogs is life-long and I am able to provide safe and trusting care to your doggy companions. In my care, all dogs are cared for in the same manner as my boys and social graces are always encouraged.

We have a home that is doggy appropriate with a securely fenced backyard that is locked, safe, clean and dogs are always supervised. Our doggy guests are able to relax, play games (the boys love interactive and learning games) and are cared for by someone that understands doggy temperaments and personalities (they are all unique little characters).
