Cronies Canine Coaching I am a certified service dog instructor providing private in-home coaching to the whole family. Text or email me when you are ready for a phone consult.

I come to you and train in heart of your home and around your busy schedule. I coach you in basic obedience, manners, routines, socialization, behaviour modifications, loose leash walking, recall, health, bonding and more. Send me your email and I will send you information on me, my fees and how to prepare for our first session. I want to hear your hopes and goals and book our first sessions together.

You will often see our Lilo with her head hanging low these days.
Lilo is an impressive 14 yr old Ladrador.
She has several places along her neck and spine that are herniated disks. This contributes to weaker movements and strength especially in her rear legs. As a result, her muscles are wasting in her back legs. Lilo is on 2 pain medications daily to help her. Her weight is extremely good. As we have always kept her lean and toned. Lilo loves her meals, drinking water, going on sniffy walks, wagon rides, participating with whatever is going on in her own way and pace. She loves long sleeps on soft beds and body massages are a favourite. Lilo is deaf and has nuclear sclerosis (cloudy eyes), it does not cause too much visual deficits. In some dogs it may alter fine details and depth perception. Which we see in Lilo now. Lilo is kind, gentle and has had the most amazing life in the service dog world as an autism service dog. Then an ambassador dog for Dogs With Wings. After retiring she went on to help Moira start Cronies Canine Coaching (CCC). Her gentle spirit, and willingness to teach and coach many dogs and humans with CCC has given her such a fulfilled life.
We have all been touched by Lilo and we know each day we have with her is a gift.

Iceman is keeping his skills fresh for his job as bat dog for the Edmonton Riverhawks Baseball Team. Team players, Hera, Lilo and Bram are playing their bases well and are ready to respond to their name when called. 🐾 Skills worked on: Impulse control, listening for their name, stay, leave it, mat, retrieve, get it, give, repeat. About Cronies

My name is Moira and these lovely Labradors are Lilo and Bramble. They are the best, little, four-legged companions one could ever ask for. Their love and loyalty fill my heart daily.

My passion and love of dogs started long ago thanks to my dad. He brought pets into my life and he was the one who first introduced me to a positive way of training dogs. Now I continue in his footsteps and I will always be thankful to him for nurturing this love of dogs in me.

In 2009, I began as an apprentice trainer at Dogs with Wings Assistance Dog Society in Edmonton, Alberta. I loved training puppies and adult dogs, as well as working personally with a wide variety of clients during the placement of their service dog and supporting them once their dogs had been placed. After graduating as a trainer, I continued to work with this organization, mainly as their Autism Service Dog instructor. Helping to train and certify autism dogs and helping to match individuals and families with their certified dog was a rewarding and fulfilling career. I learned a lot from the dogs and their people; they have all enriched my life.

After 9 years in the service dog industry, it was time to try something new and in 2018, I started working privately and opened Cronies Canine Coaching.
