We are excited to present to you our new addition to our team; Dr. Nedra Chaouachi.

Dr. Nedra Chaouachi started with us in March 2024. The animal world fascinated her since her childhood. This world communicates with us without speaking, which gave her interest in trying to understand the need and suffering of the animals and wanting to help them.

She was born and raised in Tunisia, a small Mediterranean country in Northern Africa. Dr. Chaouachi studied veterinary medicine at the only national veterinary Tunisian school; The National School of Veterinary Medicine of Sidi-Thabet, Tunisia. She started her career as a rural veterinarian for 7 years in Algeria. She then went back to Tunisia to acquire more knowledge and skills. She trained in Tunisia and France to obtain her specialty in veterinary surgery. Surgery is fascinating to her, and she also enjoy teaching and share her passion with students.

Dr. Chaouachi came to Canada in July 2020, in the midst of the pandemic as a proficient immigrant with her family of 2 daughters and 4 pets. She was a successful volley-ball player and swimmer for the Tunisian national team. Sports which she still enjoy to practice during her free time. She also love nature and its creatures, taking care of animals and giving good and positive vibes to the people around her. She is also bilingual and can offer you her services in both English and French.

We are excited to announce that after over 35 years at the same location, The Original Spay Clinic is moving to a new location!

We will open our doors at the new location on Monday May 1st! You will then find us at 11145 107 Ave NW.

Please note that we will not be doing any appointments and surgeries between Monday April 24th and Friday April 28th. We will still be available to be reached by phone at 780-426-4221 or via email at [email protected] for any inquiry, booking, medication refill request and food order.

The current location will be open Monday April 24 to Wednesday April 26 for food and/or medication pick up.

New Years celebration can be scary for your pets. Here is some firework safety tips to help your pets!

A friendly reminder as we head into the New Year!

With any long weekend or statutory holiday, there is likely to be a lot of noise and a lot of fireworks. Although we may love the sights and sounds, the thunderous cracks, brilliant flashes and screams of the crowd are pets do not. For your pet these sounds are terrifying and can lead to undue stress and harm.

Please keep your pets safe, secure and calm and ensure that their ID and pet licenses are up-to-date so should they get out, we can get them home to you.
