3 Years + Over 4800 Bandanas later, we are saying GOODBYE.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting me through the years. It's been a journey but a journey that will be coming to an end.
This wasn't an easy decision, but it was something I've been sitting on since this little shop of mine started growing substantially in the past year. Although I'm grateful for it's success, I struggled to find a balance and something had to give.
Through your support, I was able to pursue my love for creating and being a part of a special community. Most importantly while fulfilling your orders, the sound of the machine brought comfort and nostalgic memories of my mom.
So many wonderful friendships have come from this shop and I will continue to cherish them. The silverlining is that I get to reconnect with everyone and efurryone, and really be present.
Thank you to the pet community for sharing the same love language for our fur babies. Thank you to the small local makers, shops, and influencers who continue to uplift one another. Finally, thank you to the loyal customers, without you there wouldn't be a Mimio & Co.

We're saying farewell to 2021 with a HUGE sale! All bandanas are $13.00.
Sale starts December 30, 10 a.m. MST.
This is your last chance to get your paws on a bandana you've been thinking of getting. We will no longer be restocking existing prints.
THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW:
• No code required, all bandanas will be priced at $13 for all sizes.
• All bandanas are made to order.
• Processing time will be 10 to 15 business days (does not include shipping times).
• Limited sizes available, but feel free to message to inquire about a size if the website indicates that it is out of stock.
• Orders $30 or less is eligible for regular mail within Canada, without tracking for $3.00 (Mimio & Co. will not be responsible for lost packages).
• Orders greater than $30 will be shipped via expedited parcel within Canada, with tracking for $13.00.
• All international orders will be calculated at checkout.
• Local pickup will still be available (Windermere SW, Edmonton).
**UPDATE** We're spending a bit more time with family this holiday season and so we decided to postpone reopening the shop for a big sale - December 30th. It will be our biggest sale we've ever had. We can't wait to share it with you!

Our holiday bandanas are now live! I'm truly blown away by your enthusiasm through all the orders coming through. All the fur babes will be holiday ready for family dinners and to visit santa paws.
Last week we walked over to Rockefeller Center thinking that we could enjoy the holiday magic with the massive christmas tree and skating rink. Oops we're a bit early, since the tree is still en route from Maryland and will be up next week. I just wanted to experience christmas in NYC!
I'll put this here as a head start in creating holiday vibes on my feed. Holiday bandanas will be available November 19th.
My self-care holiday update: I traveled from NYC to Brooklyn, to New Jersey, and now Portsmouth in New Hampshire. I'm on my third bowl of chowda, and second lobsta roll here. 🦞

I would like to thank each and every one of you who continue to support Mimio & Co. It brings me so much joy to see photogaphs of my products on your furry family members. It means the world to me when you include our products in your fur babe's collection amongst all the other talented brands that make awesome products!
For those of you who are not aware, Mimio is run by one person. I maintain the brand, create content, post on social media, respond to your comments and inquiries on social media/emails, sourcing materials, process orders, and design and handmake the accessories for online and wholesale orders, packaging... you get the idea.
It's a lot for one person, but luckily I'm fueled by the support of family and friends along with the pet community and fellow small business owners, now friends.
You are the reason why I enjoyed operating Mimio despite some challenges in work-life balance. Organizing events that brought us together and getting to know one another, having you visit me as a vendor at markets, and engaging in real conversations and building relationships via social platforms was the fuel to my creativity.
Within the past year Mimio has grown substantially and it has put me to work twice the amount of time I would put into my full time career, and if not more. But guess what, I never left my full time career as a Policy Analyst! I discovered that I no longer have enough hours in a day to do both on top of making time for what gives me fuel and a life outside of work. Sustaining Mimio became super challenging and so I'm working through this.
I'm taking a break!
Once we're back from our self-care break we'll be ready to launch our Holiday collection and we'll be having an exciting event.

Summer is over, kids are back in school, while many have or will be returning to the office. But hey, at least we have something to look forward to, Labour Day Monday! 🥳

Mimio & Co. will be taking a short summer break.
Our online store will be open and we will do our best to respond to any messages; however, the workshop will be closed until August 5th. Any orders placed between July 10th and August 5th will be processed on the week of August 9th.

This is actually my plan everyday of the week because I dream of having more than 5 hours of sleep and of course I can never have enough sushi.

Today we celebrate all mamas!
Mamas to fur babies, you're one of the best out there. To those yearning to be mothers, we see you. For those who have lost their mamas or children, my heart is with you and you're not alone.
Mimio celebrated this special day by putting together a fur mama gift box and it is by far one of our favourite boxes. With a portion of sales and a donation from our partners, we donated $358.00 towards the Alberta Cancer Foundation in honour of my mama Linda, who lost her battle to cancer and is the inspiration behind our brand.
