Dr. Jordan has also been out in the community this month! She was honored to give the opening remarks for the 4-H sale. It was a fun evening with a wonderful meal. It’s inspiring to see these future farmers and we appreciate how hard these kids have worked on their projects!

Dr. Eiry and her dog Apollo had a blast this week hanging out with the kindergarten students at Mary Bergeron Elementary School! The visit was complete with a book about dog safety, a bunch of “guess what the animal ate” pictures and a series of stations where students got to try their hand at bandaging, “surgery”, examining a dog, and preparing lab samples. We hope to have inspired some future veterinarians!

We would like to congratulate all the graduates from Edson and the surrounding areas!
We would also like to give an especially big shoutout to all the students who have helped us, through work experience, volunteering, or working. Peyton, Brody, Emmy, Hayley, and Kacey, thank you for all your hard work and we look forward to seeing what you will all do in the future!

The Edson Vet Clinic sponsored the steer wrestling event for the Canadian College Finals Rodeo in Rimbey the weekend of May 16-18th. Wyatt Brodersen won the average for the weekend and the reserve winner was Garrett Cullum.

Today is National Lost Dog Awareness Day!

Did you know 1 in 3 pets will go missing in their lifetime?
Having your pet microchipped, tattooed, and keeping appropriate identification on them (i.e. collar tags) dramatically increases their chances of being returned to you. Today is also a good reminder to make sure the information for your pet's microchip and tattoo is up-to-date!
