AUCTION!!!!!!!!! As you all know we planned on having a Golf Tournament but it was cancelled :( We were given some awesome items to auction off, this is one of them. We will auction the rest off in November stay tuned 🙂

This awesome basket was donated by Switzer's Drugs in Edson it’s full of all kinds of treats and goodies, coffee cups, hats and soaps also this auction will run from today till Sunday at 9pm SB$25.00

Cat intake coordinator Mackenzie and I got to go do some hands on helping in Hinton today. We delivered some care packages and other needed supplies to the K&D detailing location and then we headed to the Hinton SPCA to deliver some supplies and get some snuggles in for the cats who have been evacuated. Even our fishy and slithery friends got some attention. The staff at the Hinton SPCA are doing a great job caring for these animals, they are in such good hands. More supplies will be arriving tomorrow 😊

Wow, that was fast. Foster home secured!

Seeking a foster home for this sweet guy! Barley is one of the three that we were able to intake from Barrhead. He was initially going to a Jasper foster home, but for obvious reasons that is not possible at this time. Barley is almost 4 months old, friendly, good with kids, cats and dogs. He is a Great Pyrenees mix. He has received his first DAPP, kennel cough and deworm

We have food coming from a generous donation from Hills but we are needing cat litter donated asap. Hinton SPCA is currently caring for 19 cats and they will need cat litter. If you're in Hinton please drop donations off at the SPCA, if you're in Edson and you would like to donate please stop by Pet Valu or Diana’s pets. We will be taking donations later today or tomorrow. Thank you everyone 🙏🏻🐾❤️

Attention pet owning evacuees from Jasper…
The Edson Veterinary Clinic is working with Hills Pet Food to help you out for the next couple of weeks.
Hills is offering two weeks worth of food for each pet affected by the evacuation.

Are you looking for a temporary puppy friend? We have recently been contacted regarding 7 pups that need placement and in order to take them in, we need fosters!

These pups can go to homes as single puppies. They are roughly 3 months old and are larger breed mixes. They are currently in a home with kids of all ages and are wonderful with them. They are also great with other dogs and cats!

We are out of options, Missy is heading to a kennel tonight-which is not the best environment for her. But we haven’t given up on our search for a foster home for Missy. She just needs to feel safe in a home and then she interacts quite well! Give Missy a chance, fill out the foster application in the original post today🙏🏻

Rainbow bridge post 🌈

We are heart broken by the sudden passing of Thorin aka fluffy girl in her foster home this morning. As sad as it is, her passing is an opportunity to bring awareness to pet safety in the home. She was playing with a reusable shopping bag, and unfortunately got the handles wrapped around her little neck. Her fosters were only gone a few hours. Accidents can happen so suddenly and randomly. Things like shopping bags, cords, shoe laces, etc. can all be a danger to our furry friends. In honor of Thorin, check your home for hazards, and hug your fur babies extra tight tonight 💔

Urgently seeking a foster home for Missy! *time sensitive* Unfortunately Missy’s current foster mom will be spending much of her time in the forseeable future out of province caring for an ill family member and can no longer foster Missy. Missy requires a foster home that will provide her with the love and care she deserves. She may be quite timid at first, but with a little patience, she will quickly become a loving companion. A calm and peaceful environment is essential for Missy, as she is afraid of most men and children. If you have a playful furry friend at home, Missy would love to make new friends and play all day! Adoption alert! Chevy took his gig as store greeter so seriously that he found a fur-ever family in record time! Today is Chevy’s last big mountain walk with foster mom before his adoption ❤️⛰️🐾

Update: one of the Jasper foster homes graciously picked them up. 🚙 Transportation needed! Sadie’s pups are receiving their first vaccine and dewormer tomorrow afternoon. Once vaccinated, they will be ready to move to individual foster homes! Two of them will be ready to move on to their Jasper foster homes. Is there anyone heading to Jasper this week who wouldn’t mind a couple of adorable passengers?

Mama Sadie and puppies are doing great! Puppies are getting active and growing like weeds! They just started eating a bit of kibble this week. We have 7 girls and two boys who will be ready for individual foster homes in the first week of January
