Some things to note about contacting us:
-We are volunteer run, so our team is answering messages and emails and screening applications in-between their normal jobs and family and other commitments. Please have patience and don't expect an immediate response. Responses can take 3-5 days.
-If you are interested in adopting, fostering, or volunteering, fill out the application on the website. This is the quickest way to get a response, and is essential for us to keep things organized. If you just send an email or message, it could get lost or forgotten.
- If you have questions, before you message us please check out our website and page to see if your question can be answered there first. We also have automated FAQ options on our Facebook messages. Volunteer time is precious and the less messages we have to manually reply to the better.
- our phone number is just a messaging service, and is not the quickest or best way to get a response.
- We are not an emergency service, and have no legal jurisdiction. In an emergency call 911. For animals at large call Edson law enforcement. In animal welfare cases call the Alberta SPCA. Once these cases have been reported to the proper authority, then EARS can assist if needed.
