Thank you Fort Folly Habitat Recovery for your conservation work and education ! Looking forward to todays event 🐟🌱

Fort Folly Habitat Recovery will be hosting a ceremonial adult salmon release on Friday, October 13th! Guests are encouraged to arrive at the Elgin Women’s Institute (32 Gowland Mountain Rd, Elgin, NB) around 12:30. The official riverside ceremony will begin at 1:30. Come on out to celebrate and engage in this action-oriented approach to salmon conservation!🐟

We will have a variety of farm fresh vegetables including beans, potatoes, cucumbers, rutabaga, and much more !

Forget-Me-Not Wildflower & Tree Farm will be joining us selling native trees & flowers as well as some delicious hand-picked apples for eating & cooking.

Truly doesn't get much better than that 🍎🍏🍎

Animal apples will also be available !

As a farmer, wintertime is for planning ! Our local library has been our favourite place to learn new things while planning for the 2023 growing season. These are some of our favourite books thus far.

With the looming threat of food insecurity and record high inflation we are very eager to be apart of the change and bring seasonal produce grown with pure intention to our community at accessible prices. While we have your attention; what are your expectations of your local farmers during this difficult time? What produce would you like to see at your local market this season?
