There are many unusual sheep breeds that produce luxury fibre, plus a few standards. Wild crafted herbs and flowers, garden produce when available, eggs, meat, and fruits are produced on the farm. The Fat Ewe also makes soap, lotions, and butters, blends essential oils and offers classes in all of the above.

A while back Janet bought some of my Cotswold blend yarn with a project in mind. Today I am sharing her work with you, (with her permission). This is purchased from of Ravelry, and is called "Flower Stars and Nets Cap and Mittens" by Cynthia Atley Peterson. I am so in awe of the perfection of her knitting and to think, it is with wool from my dearly beloved sheep!

Here is the front door to my little house in town, my retirement home. The little fairy is sending love to the gnarled old tree and other fairies are on their way to help her. I am planting all sorts of gardens here, a home for the fairy folk, my dogs and me.
