Took a cruise to check our herd at Roos pasture. Fed grain, everyone is fat and looking content.
JD has some nice looking foals this year. As soon as I’m organized I’ll be posting foals for sale at weaning time.
I could sit and watch the dynamics that go in as far as who’s boss and who’s not.

I know the Covid-19 epidemic will end. But the wide spread has left many farm and ranch businesses having difficulty managing the health and care of their stock.
I have a QH stud that needs his teeth done before I turn him out to pasture with his mares. We had made an appointment with our vet in Pincher Creek but they had to cancel due to staffing.
It’s a problem in Cranbrook at the vets also.
I’ve never experienced anything like this in my lifetime. We’ve had so many other serious viruses in our lifetime that affected and killed many more.
Hopefully this ends soon we all need to get on with business.

We have laying hens and a brood mare operation. So there are eggs to

I see she has two foals born already 2020 from Jose.
He will be our Sire here at JD Sporthorses this year.
Jose has an exceptional show history and I’m pretty confident he’ll produce great mounts, hopefully some great roping and ranch horses.

Please pay attention to this c**t. Offered for sale , Nibbles is 1/2 Saddlebred out of Austin’s Commander and our QH mare we call Red. He is really outstanding, great conformation no blemishes, I’m thinking he might make a pretty fancy ride.
Nibbles is coming 2 and standing around 15 hands. He is very smooth once his winter coat is shedded.

Just got Mr Tee’s paper. The AQHA has been so slow processing registration paper.
Tee is at Scarlette-Rose Empey’s place and she is wishing to sell him.
She is planning her wedding so she has little extra time.
He have very good parentage. Raised here at JD Sporthorses, Sire is Too Cool to Duel.
I seen him 2 months ago, he’s tall and really muscles up. He had a month last summer at Selena’s and he was really easy going.
I feel he could be a great barrel project or just a super trail horse, he has lots of potential.

Today at our place this is what happened. DD foaled a stud c**t out of Austin’s Command. I had so many calls from Johnny today during my trip home. He towelled him all down made sure he sucked, had lots of straw to lay down on.
He looks like a beauty to me, I’ll see him tomorrow. I’m sure between Nicole and Johnny they’ll have him imprinted lol.
Johnny just called 10:15 pm, says he just check on them, he’s lively and warm.

Austin is now gelded, at 18
years old he’s still in remarkable condition. We hope to
Offer him for sale, our plans are to put him under harness and hopefully he’ll pull a buggy or sleigh.
As of right now we have no snow. If we are successful with him he’ll make a beautiful parade horse.
