Prepare for some traffic delays on Highway 2 for those of you who are coming to see us tomorrow. Give yourself extra time when heading out in the morning 😊

Traffic Advisory ❗

On Friday, November 15, our wastewater team will be performing system maintenance near 750 Hwy 2 in Elmsdale at 8:30 am. Traffic on Hwy 2 will be reduced to a single lane with traffic controls in place. Please follow all safety signage in the area.

This work is expected to be completed by 3 pm. Thank you for your patience.

If you can believe it, these two photos are the same dog! With only a diet change, Hemi here lost 10kg (that’s 22lbs!!) in 6 months!!

We don’t often think about our pet’s few extra pounds affecting their quality of life, but they absolutely can! Just like us, overweight pets can suffer from decreased energy and sore joints, and are at increased risk for injury!

Do you know fall is not just a common time for respiratory illness for people but also for your pets?

Change in weather, spending more time inside, turning on heat sources all lead to increased airborne dust, allergens and animals being in closer contact with one another spreading their germs can all lead to coughing, sneezing, runny eyes and generally being a little quiet. Kennel cough, kitty colds and seasonal allergies are common this time of the year.

Even if your pet is up to date on their vaccines, dogs and cats can still get respiratory illness. Like most people, they usually need time and a little TLC. However, they can develop more serious symptoms and need a trip to their veterinarian.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call!
