Raw4dogs provides fresh quality food at reasonable prices located north of Barrie Ontario. BARF and prey model raw food then give raw4dogs a call.
Important notice for all CUSTOMERS: both Raw Food and Arena Renters.
Starting this week, you will notice that I have put up a barrier to section off the store from the entranceway to the arena. When the store is closed no one is to go beyond this barrier. It's unfortunate that I have had to do this as the store creates a warm crating space, but we had some customers help themselves to food over the long weekend.
For our arena customers:
Crating will have to be done in the ring, or you can rent the loft with your arena rental. (to do this please contact us through email [email protected]). There will no longer be any crating in the store, no exceptions.
For Raw food Customers:
The doors to the store may not be locked all of the time, even if the store is closed. Our arena rentals are open 7 days a week. If you arrive and the chain barrier is up it means the store is closed. We have store hours posted between the doors, on social media, and on our web page. PLEASE check these sources.

You’ll work with 1 instructor for 1 hour then break for 15 then Switch “rings”
This is a WAO fundraiser opportunity for Kris - wishing her well on her build up to representing Canada in May in the Netherlands.

We have our curriculum split into levels designed for 2 different age groups which will tackles behavioural preventives by development stage, as well as equips our students and their new puppies with proper canine communication knowledge to enhance their relationship and happily choose to take direction from you because it feels good!
This is an 8 week learning experience for you and your new family member. Our class will take place in Springwater just outside of Elmvale at Raw4dogs Canine Athletic Centre

I need some help picking rocks in the field…..I’m getting all the big ones with this monster 🚜 but the baseball sized ones are falling through the bucket.
We can do a 2 for 1 deal…for every hour you help pick rocks we’ll give you 2 hours of free ring time….good to use anytime from now until end of March 2023. Or if you’d prefer cash we can do that too….

To all the renters today, this was my drive heading north on old second about 1 km south of our place (just turned from Flos 4 onto old second.
It’s nasty out there, I’d rather you reschedule then get a call that you’re in a ditch. (PS, if you do end up in the ditch text me, I’ll come and pull you out)
400 north was at a stand still from Barrie to Horse shoe valley
Had a few questions regarding the upcoming Four Paws AAC trial on March 13th (trial is full) and April 9/10 (still some room)
Vx passports will not be required by the government and we will be following suit. We will not be asking for a vaccine passport to attend these trials.
All are welcome, and we will still be doing all the other “things” to keep people safe.

Another project started, we had a local farmer plow up our entire field. WHY you ask? It was rough, and usually took me 11 hours + to cut the grass, at a snails pace, bouncing my brains out!!
This is a long process, but here are the steps:
1 Plow the field this fall. ✅
2 Allow grass to die over the winter (this is the easy part)
Next spring:
3 Pick rocks (who wants to come and help 😂😂)
4 Re plow the field
5 Disc the field to take out all the lumps
6 Harrow it nice a flat
7 Roll it to make it SMOOOTH
8 Re plant grass seed
9 Roll it again
10 Add 3 outdoor agility rings with permanent fencing, timers shelter, hydro and water
11 Fix fencing around entire property
The three ring will be 120 X 120 with a double row of removable fencing between them, this will allow for 3 smaller 120’ x 120’ rings or one large 120’ X 360’ ring (for disc, or lure coursing)

With the turf all set up, this is a friendly reminder to bring indoor shoes with you to use in the ring.
Shelving and boot trays are all set up to put your muddy/wet boots on.
No exception for this, if the turf gets wet it will become slippery and dangerous for your dog.

These turf roll weigh about 800 lbs….recruited Adam again for the morning, and then our staff from the store came out to give us a hand unrolling and moving them into position.
Special shout out to Harmony who lives in Hillsdale she replied to a random Facebook post for help.
Taking the afternoon off, tomorrow we’ll stretch the wrinkles out, tape the seams, trim and fasten the perimeter down with 6” spikes…..
This video was 5 hours of our day, all wrapped up into 33 second…

PS, I have no idea how many steps this will take ……just plugging away….
Step two:
Remove EVERYTHING from the arena…..
All equipment will be washed and ready to go back in….
Step one of renovations done, 57 litre of white paint applied, time to clean up and put some equipment back for weekend classes.
Next step, re levelling the sand….
Who wants free rental time?
We’ve been super quiet on here lately which usually means we’ve been busy!!!
But we’re not exactly done with the improvements….I’m not going to say WHAT we need help with but this project is HUGE, and will require lots of hands to get it done.
So, we’re looking for some help on October 21-24. ( Oct 21, 22 for sure, and 23, 24 if we aren’t finished by then)
No tools required, we just need you to help lift and move “things” 🤗
In exchange for your help we’ll offer you free rental time, for every hour you work, you’ll get an hour of ring time. We promise we won’t beat you up too much 🤙
If you can come for a couple hours or a couple days send me a text 705-309-5240 let me know what day and times you can lend a hand. Or just show up, We’ll be starting each day around 9 am until we are done, or tired whichever comes first.
