Little floof, big dreams. 💛🐾

K9CI Walker is doing his best to keep up with the big dogs and learning that being a service dog takes a lot of heart (and a lot of little puppy steps!).

He may be small now, but this golden boy is working hard toward a future helping a handler navigate PTSD with confidence, comfort, and companionship.

For now, he’s mastering the basics, making friends, and proving that every great service dog starts as an adorable puppy trying to keep pace with the pack. ✨

Is K9CI Mello serving more lip or more teeth? 🤔😂

Caught mid-smoulder with his lip stuck on his teeth, Mello is giving his best “accidentally handsome” look. We can’t decide if he’s trying to be a supermodel or just forgot how his face works for a second.

What do you think—lip, teeth, or pure Golden Retriever charm? 🐾✨

K9CI Boone is a big fan of bath time—on or off duty! 🧼🐾

When it comes to grooming, Boone’s favourite part is the facial massage during his shampoo. The more pampering, the better!

What’s your dog’s favourite part of grooming? ✨

K9CI Stella is mastering the art of settling calmly and confidently in a variety of environments. As a future service dog, her ability to remain relaxed and focused in both familiar and unfamiliar situations is essential to supporting her handler’s health, independence, and accessibility.

A service dog’s job is to be ready wherever life takes their handler. Through consistent training and exposure, Stella is learning to navigate the world with confidence, because wherever her handler goes, she’ll be right by their side. 🐾

K9CI Rosco, an Operational Stress Intervention Dog (OSID) in training, rocked the Farmers’ Market! 🐾

Throughout the training of an OSID, exposure to a wide variety of environments, people, and experiences is essential. Every community is diverse, and these dogs must be confident and comfortable interacting with individuals from all walks of life.

Dogs like Rosco are trained to support first responders and civilian workers - For Rosco it’s Fire and Paramedic Services, while also serving as a valuable bridge to the communities they protect. Through handler-cued interactions and specialized skills, they help build connections, provide comfort, and create meaningful opportunities for engagement.

The impact of a single Operational Stress Intervention Dog extends far beyond the handler—strengthening relationships, supporting mental wellness, and making a lasting difference within both the service and the community. ♥️

K9CI River looking absolutely gorgeous after her groom! ✨

Proper grooming is an important part of being a service dog. Regular grooming supports overall health and comfort, helps dogs perform their jobs effectively, and ensures they are clean and well-presented in public settings.

A well-groomed service dog is not only more comfortable, but also helps maintain the professional image and public etiquette expected of working dogs. 🐾❤️

Service dogs come in all shapes and sizes, but they all share two incredible qualities: an unbreakable bond with their handler and a deep desire to help. ♥️

Every team is unique, yet the trust, partnership, and dedication between a service dog and their person remain the same.

We’re kicking off with the always-stylish K9CI Jeph, who is Pride-ready all year long! 🌈🐾

At K9CI, we’re proud to support a diverse community of handlers, families, volunteers, and staff. This month, we celebrate love, authenticity, inclusion, and the freedom to be yourself.

Here’s to visibility, acceptance, and a world where everyone can walk proudly beside their best friend. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

The lovely K9CI Judy has been with her handler for just one month since completing her formal training and integration, and she’s already making a life-changing impact.

New experiences that once felt overwhelming are now possible with Judy by her handler’s side. The days of abandoning a grocery cart full of groceries due to anxiety or stress are now a thing of the past.

With K9CI Judy, confidence is growing, independence is returning, and what once seemed impossible is becoming possible—one outing, one experience, and one victory at a time. ❤️🐾
