⚠️🐶 Critical puppy socialization periods you don’t want to miss:
8 - 12 WEEKS:
- It is most important for them to have interactions with other people
- We recommend that puppies at this stage get introduced to 25 new people per week (children of all ages, people wearing hats/long coats, people with beards/glasses)
- Idea: walk through a pet store with your puppy in your arms, so they can get exposed to new people in a new environment!
3 - 6 MOTNHS:
- It is most important for them to have positive & safe interactions with other dogs
- Ideas: puppy class, dog daycare, play dates with other dogs
Following these guidelines will help set your dog up for success in their adult life, by making them confident & comfortable in any situation around strangers, or around other dogs!
These are the most impressionable ages for our dogs to meet people & other dogs, so make sure you’re getting out there & getting your new puppy socialized 😊

This week was Daycare Training graduation week for a group of dogs that have been working hard over the last 6 weeks! 🙌🏻
In these videos, Cass is doing a skill testing course for dogs at each grade level, and they are showing how well they can demonstrate what they’ve been working on - skills like “go to your bed”, name recognition, sit, stay and release, down, leave-it, loose leash walking, and lots more. 🦮
Our Daycare Training Program is where your dog attends weekly daycare, and also gets 1:1 time with one of our trainers. This is ideal for busy pet parents who want their dog to enjoy the benefits of socialization, plus the mental stimulation of training!
