My very own Winston placed 8th in 12" dble drop Veteran. With 419 points, he was incredible this weekend I'm so proud of him. He also qualified for Nationals coming up in Aug.
Next year maybe Phoebe will get to have a go and little Aurora from her recent litter.
Again a huge shout out to Northern Derby Agility Club & to all the fantastic volunteers, the sponsors & committee members who put it all together. Thank you!

As some may know, Regionals was held at the Oro Fair Grounds hosted by Northern Derby Agility Club this past weekend. A huge shout out to one of our own. StetlerAcres Incredible Temple of Doom placed 16th in the 20 " division competing with 55 other dogs. She qualified for Nationals in Aug being held in Maxville. Her points 443. She turned 2 at the end of May. An amazing accomplishment for a young dog. Her sister, Indiana Jones qualified in the 16 " special and placed sixth with 454 points. An amazing Team & Rebecca Koebel has made it look so easy, congratulations teams.
P.S. ** Don't you just love the names? 😉

Today 1 more pup at 6 months old went to their new FURever home.
I am happy that Finn has gone home with Rudy & Marilyn. I must say my heart was a bit broken after all it was an extended stay. He loves his cuddles, his one on one time, treats, food and he is eager to learn & please. Now if you'll excuse me 🥹

He is crate trained night and day.

An update on Rainforest now known as Indigo ~ Indy. What a sweet heart. I referred to her as one of the triplets, she & Cabot now Ozzie and Brutus all have the same face like their momma. 🥰

I took Phoebe (momma) out yesterday to Agility, we didn't gain any Ques, but plenty of experience. We took baby girl Aurora yesterday to experience & socialize around new sounds, smells, & people.
Today was Uncle Winston's turn. Still no Q's to bring home, but we all know I love him. We took baby Fin with us to visit & experience & to tell everyone he is still looking for a Furever home. We crated him with Rebecca (Indy & Temple) so that Winston can focus on Agility today. In the end, Fin did at least an 80% improvement from arrival to leaving & Winston was okay to walk with him! And Fin met Sean with baseball cap & sunglasses, he was great!

These 2 very handsome boys are still looking for their Furever home.
Fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, crate trained day & night,
Parents are health checked and clear.
These pups will be CKC Registered.
19 weeks old, they need their new home.

On the side they can be hired out as excellent excavator operator or to help in your garden 😉.

Aurora met her full siblings today. Leonard and Temple. Both older siblings were excited & very good with her.
Taking Aurora to see new things, a little timid around new people and other dogs. To be expected. But with her full siblings there was no hesitation and it was a very interesting observation. 🥰

We said goodbye to Nahanni on Friday afternoon, aka Dolly or Dolly Olly! Tim & Rebecca were so happy to add her to their family. Dolly and I had a few words we will miss her, but so happy she has found her Furever home!
She still has 2 brothers looking for their new homes. Please share!

Practicing sit, and then recall and sit and some just came and checked in and sat in front of me. Trying to form good habits and not so much chaos.

Pup #1 on a rock is Nunavut aka Brutus. He is a tub of love and looking for his Furever home.
Pup #2 on a stump face showing is Fundy aka Fin. He loves his cuddles and likes to be busy.
Pup #3 side view is Nahanni aka Dolly. She loves one on one and her individual hugs

Crate trained and doing very well.

As I mentioned last week, we have Aurora in puppy kindergarten. 3 of our pups are still looking for their Furever home. Now, please note there is never enough hours in a day sometimes. Tonight however, we did some 1 on 1. Each pup has different levels, excitement, light bulb coming on and it is fun to watch. Most have sit, Fundy was just so excited to really sit, but on mat, bang on. Brutus, well, he has a nice sit, mat didn't come so easy, however he just wants love! Nahanni picked up on sit, down and mat quickly.
I didn't go much more than 15 minutes each, they were tired.
Aurora has had a head start, she halfway on mat and looking for treat then realized until she was fully up before she'd get one. 🥰

We said goodbye to Rainforest today. Lucky for us the buyers come visit family in the area so we just might be able to get a visit in once in awhile.
Congratulations to Connie and Andrea and their family! Name still yet to be determined. Rainforest has always been a tail wagger and greeter. ❤️

The last romp around our yard with Rainforest and momma Phoebe. Rainforest left for her new FURever home. She was a very Happy girl.

Less snow, more speed, more bush to explore. They needed a good run and was able to experience some light rain & mud 🙄

It's getting easier to keep track and count the puppies running around ~ everywhere!
