Hello Facebook,

I'm just putting out a call for anyone interested in fostering kittens! We haven't been able to get a facility as of yet for the rescue to operate out of, so we unfortunately need to rely on foster homes for the time being.

If anyone is interested, please message us here to discuss details. This would be on a volunteer basis for now.

(If by any chance someone reading this may know of a local place that may work to run a shelter out of as well, please feel free to contact us here as well, we're taking all the leads we can in that regards.)

There are two cats available for adoption at the Dog Ranch!
We figured we'd help spread the word!

Both cats are people friendly, though they could use a touch more socializing; Garfield either was a barn cat, or would suit a partially outdoor life style best (so acreage/farm), and Bugsy is an indoor boy.

They are already neutered and up to date on vaccines, and are going for a reduced adoption fee of 100$.

Sadly, our community deals with a serious stray cat issue. With the weather dropping into extreme lows, these simple, easy, and inexpensive shelters can mean the difference between life and death for cats without somewhere safe and warm to rest overnight.

Please consider building one of these! It could be a great family activity, and likely make a huge difference to a cat in need. 💚

We have two strays who were abandoned this summer in the area - the lady who was taking care of them unfortunately doesn't have a proper shelter for them as the weather turns brutal tonight and for the foreseeable future. The cats in question are two intact tabby males, likely brothers, and can suffice in something as simple as a heated garage, shed, or basement.

As they are not neutered, please keep in mind they shouldn't be kept with unspayed females.

We started a fundraiser via GoFundMe! As our weather dips frightfully low, plenty of strays are finding themselves without proper shelter and at risk. This money will be used to help secure a location and build small shelters.

Hello Facebook! I'm just posting a quick message to get the word out that we're looking for a location for the shelter! Ideally we want a spot in Yellowhead county near Evansburg. If you know of places that are for rent and would be okay hosting a cat shelter, please feel free to message us!

Secondly, we're on the look out for unused/old coolers to make into insulated shelters for stray and feral cats during the cold winter nights.

And finally, we are now accepting any and all donations! If you want to donate food, litter, flea bath, toys, anything cat related, please message us here we can organize a drop-off/pick up. We also desperately need cat cages (the big wire ones) if anyone has one that they aren't using!

Details on our next meeting will be coming tomorrow!

Hello Facebook!

I have an update for you all - our first public meeting will be on Sunday, November 13th, starting at 1pm. We will be hosting the meeting out of Tipple Park Museum in Evansburg.

We plan to go over some basic plans, the forming of our board, and hopefully being able to get the gears rolling to form the Society in place so that we can start fundraising and applying for grants. As soon as we have some money, we're hoping to find a space to rent and then we can start working on taking in cats.

With an opening date planned for January 2023, we are going to be busy, busy, busy getting everything organized for the shelter. We'll be working in Fundraising in the next couple months but are also looking for members of the community who may be interested in helping out on the admin side of things! We currently have 4 members on our little board, and need a minimum of five in order to form a society and apply for grants to help with lodging costs, medical, and utilities for the cats.

If anyone is interested, please message us here. We'll be hosting an open public meeting sometime in the next few weeks as well.

Hello Facebook world!
Lucky Whiskers W.E.E is an up and coming cat shelter/rescue that will be servicing the Wildwood, Evansburg, and Entwistle area. We are just starting up and won't be able to do intakes yet, but would like to start community engagement.

We are a non-profit group (aiming to be a Society once we have enough board members), so donations and volunteers will be needed in the future.

Right now, we mostly just wanted to introduce ourselves, and let the area know of our presence. If you want to get updates and watch as we grow, please give our page a follow.

This is Poe. Not an official rescue as we are still months and funding away from an opening, but part of the final piece of the puzzle that made Lucky Whiskers a thing.

It's that time of year again
FAARS FOR ALL ANIMALS RESCUE SOCIETY is looking for your support for our annual Online Auction that will be held at the end of November. If you have something you wish to donate we can arrange to pick up or arrange a drop off location. All donations are greatly appreciated and do not forget they do not have to be pet related. This is a great way to support the animals and great advertising for you and/or your business. We are hoping to have all donations in by November 14th.
