I know it’s tempting to stay cooped up inside during the colder months, but it’s important for our dogs and us to engage in some sort of physical activity.

Only two weeks are left to kick off 2025, and some of you are probably working on your New Year’s resolutions.

🧠 To help you set your intentions (and keep them!) for 2025, I propose using a concept called "The Gap and The Gain" that I learned through a book.

In summary, being in the GAP means comparing yourself to others and wishing you had more (time, money, resources, etc.) while being on the GAIN means comparing yourself against how far you’ve come and everything you’ve achieved.

This concept applies to all areas of our lives, including dog fitness.
To build upon this concept and how it relates to dog fitness, here’s an insightful blog I shared last year that still applies today. Enjoy!
