Comment I’M READY if you’re in!
Have you ever been to a buffet? It’s overwhelming to make choices when everything looks enticing! 🍗🥗🍲
Sometimes, less is MORE, and that’s also true in the canine gym!
The truth is if we introduce too much too quickly we’re likely to confuse and frustrate our puppies and beginner dogs learning about the canine gym.
Limiting ourselves to just one or two low stable pieces of equipment helps to set our dog up for success and ensures they’re not trying anything beyond their skill level – this is crucial in preventing injury!
I hear you:
“How many exercises can I realistically do with just a single piece of equipment?” 🤔
“I don’t know how to come up with multiple exercises for just one piece of equipment” 🤭
“But it seems too basic! Is ONE piece of equipment really enough to keep my dog learning?” 🥴
The answer is YES! One piece of equipment is all you need!!!
😎🤗😁
BUT as a BONUS – you will also get simple video instructions showing you how to pair your plank with a balance foam pad so you have literally doubled the possibilities with each exercise!
What are you waiting for? This is your chance to lay a solid foundation for BOTH you and your dog that will last a lifetime of canine conditioning.

**Training Test** 📝
Disclaimer alert - There is a RIGHT and WRONG ways to go about a fitness training session!
A poorly set up training session can have a negative effect on the dog’s confidence and willingness to work/engage with us. This effects not only their willingness to participate in future canine fitness but also in other training sessions outside the gym too!
Bottom line: How we set up a training session can make it go really well or end in failure and frustration.
In this video below, there are over 10 common mistakes that I see happen in canine conditioning sessions. 😲
Can you spot and identify them??? 🤔
Comment below and let me know what you find wrong with this training session!! Give it a try! 🤩

🐾🐾 Meet Brie 🐾🐾
Brie is a 20-month-old agility/conformation Sheltie from Singapore. His owner came to me a year ago looking for help. She was struggling to get him to stand and sit correctly. He had sloppy posture – his feet were uneven; his sit was splayed and he had no body awareness!
Brie’s owner spent thousands of dollars on weekly hydrotherapy, chiro services, and other conditioning programs with no luck. His sloppy postures remained. Running, hiking, and walking still wasn’t doing it. 💰🤯💰🤯💰
We started working together on his foundation skills to teach Brie how use his body evenly, efficiently and properly with the use of FUNCTIONAL exercises!! Within a short period of time, Brie’s posture had completely transformed!!! Not only did he gain more power, strength, body awareness and improved posture, his performance in sports were taken to a new level!!
Check out this transformational video to see the kind of results you can get too!! 💪🏆🥇

If you want to become a better trainer...YOU CAN!
Do you know what the secret to success is? 🤔
The secret to achieving your training and fitness goals? 🤔
The secret to seeing our intentions flourish? 🤔
The secret to success and improved performance, muscle tone, strength, flexibility is consistency…
Working your dog out once a week or every other week, will NOT get your dog stronger, but being CONSISTENT with a program will.
It’s the accumulation of the little things that get you effective results. It’s not about the intensity or how much you can jam in a session, but how consistent can you be. When I first started, I crammed in my dog workouts – thought doing a lot in a short period would help. Guess what? It didn’t. I wasn’t seeing the benefits. But as I started to be more consistent, I did.
Consistency is key and I’ll show you soon in the course I’ve been diligently working on, how to make your conditioning consistent without totally rearranging your daily life.
TODAY is the LAST DAY to join Functional Fitness for the Sports Dog 🤯🤯🤯
Let me help you and keep you accountable in a new and refreshing way that will help you and your dog avoid injury and stay in the ring this season. And many seasons to come!

Functional Fitness for the Sports Dog
Turns out you can teach an old dog new tricks! 🥰🥰🥰
Canine fitness is important for ALL dogs but especially our older athletes still competing in their sports!!! 🐕
Just because our dog is a little greyer around the muzzle that doesn’t mean they also can’t benefit from a fitness regime to keep them playing their favourite game for as long as possible!!
🐾 Meet Pilot 🐾
As an older dog competing in agility his owner wanted to make sure he continued to play the game with the right fitness level to minimize injury and wear and tear on his body. She wasn’t ready to retire him (and neither was Pilot) but sought a program that could improve his hind end strength so he could continue to compete in the game they both loved!! A huge goal was to be able to compete in the US National Agility Championships.
Starting from the ground up, we slowly build up Pilot’s fitness program incorporating challenges and exercises that mimic the movement he needed in the agility ring. This ensured that he had the right strength and movement patterns to safely do the exercises but also brought confidence to Pilot’s owners knowing that he was physically able to train and compete in agility.
We’re happy to report that at the age of 11 he not only competed at the National Agility Championships but continues to play in the sport he and his owner both love! 😍
Age is just a number and it is POSSIBLE to have an older dog still compete and enjoy their sport well into their golden years. 💪
Let me show you how in my course Functional Fitness for the Sports Dog can help your senior athlete! 🤩

Do you have a senior that trains or competes in sport? Show a photo of them in the comments! 📸
“Ugh, Carolyn. I don’t want to do that – it's BORING” 😩
Do you think simple conditioning exercises on stable pieces are BORING? 🥱
Do you find yourself gravitating to “sexier” pieces of equipment like inflatables or balance beams? 🐕
Do you find yourself to the “cool-looking” exercises.
👀 You know. 👀
Those exercises. The ones where our dog is standing on two legs.
The ones on unstable pieces of equipment that look cool but your dog is struggling to hold the proper form.
Or the ones that are fancy but actually put our dog at risk of injury. 🤕
Ask yourself, why does my agility dog need to be able to perform a perfect handstand? 🤔
Why does my dock diving dog need to sit pretty? 🤔
The answer is …... THEY DON’T! 🤯
Why these exercises may look sexy they are NOT FUNCTIONAL!!
🔥🔥🔥 Newsflash! Functional fitness is SEXY! 🔥🔥🔥
Functional exercises are designed to be safe, appropriate and fun and created to mimic how a dog normally moves in life and sport! When looking at exercises to do with your dog I want you to
STOP and ask yourself, “would my dog normally do this movement in their sport” 🤔
If the answer is NO then that means that exercise is not for you!
Functional is the NEW sexy! If you’re looking for safe, functional, and sport specific exercises that are actually going to get your dog the RESULTS you are looking for then don’t miss out!!!
