Still pulling beets out of my garden!

Last season, rather than direct sow, I started my beets in seedling trays with 6 or 7 seeds in each cell. Once they germinated, I just planted the whole cell out without separating. As I harvested the larger beets, it made room for the smaller ones in the cluster to grow. Highly successful method for me!

My celery overwintered! Looking a bit raggedy but it’s already pushing out new growth.

Not gardening related but would anyone like my collection of Mollie Makes magazines? I have come to terms with the fact that I can’t do ALL the crafts and am ready to part with them!

Lots of fun little melons in the greenhouse today. I’ll have to try them side by side to see which is our fave.

Umm, I don’t recall planting this variety of tomato but I bet it makes one hell of a fiery tomato sauce!
