Hello everyone, after much consideration and deliberation, we have made the unfortunate decision to postpone this years ECK9 Working Dog Challenge until September 2025. With the changes the CDC is making to the US border crossing with dogs, it is still unclear as to how this will effect everyone coming from the States. We have decided to give it a year for all the "kinks" to be worked out and people to get familiar navigating the changes. We look forward to bringing the event back in 2025 with a bonus team challenge added.

The Essex County K9 crew had an awesome time competing in Backwoods K-9 LLC 's Alpha team challenge over the weekend. Victor and Milo placing 1st, Andrea and Hooper placing 1st, Michael and Dazen placing 2nd, and Victor and Ivy placing 3rd in their divisions. Thanks to Pat and his Misfits for an awesome race and we are going to miss it in the years to come.

Denise and Alita qualified in Novice Container and Novice Handler Discrimination
Andrea and Hooper qualified in Novice Container (1st and 2nd), Novice Interior (2- 1st) and Novice Handler Discrimination (2- 2nd).

It's way too cold ouside for our four legged friends to be playing. Need a safe spot to work or play with your dogs in the warmth? We rent out our facility by the hour ($20 for 1- 2 dogs-cash only) for current or past clients. You can even use our equipment (with the exception of scent or bite work). This week has been busy with clients using the facility and tiring out their dogs. Give us a shout if you want a warm place to relieve some of your dog's energy. 519-791-6203 or msg on Facebook.
