We cannot believe we have been in operation for THIRTY years! For thirty years we have worked towards making our community a better place for the animals we are surrounded with.
With that, we thought there is no better time than now to unveil our NEWEST logo to carry us into our next thirty years. (any many more after that)
We would like to thank OnTrend Media Group Inc. for ultimately designing our newest logo. We truly believe it encompasses some of the old logo while adding a touch of new.
We may have a new logo but it is still the same ol' us. We are here to help be a committed organzation to our community and surrounding area by improving the lives of the animals in our care as they await their forever homes, while helping as many others as we can along the way.
Anyone looking for a new bestfriend? You have to meet Todd!!! This boy is a cuddler, he is a lot of fun to take walking because he is never in a rush. Stop.Smell.Observe his world around him. Takes four steps. Cuddle.Sit.Snakk.Repeat. Has had play time with Lala, Neo, and Kirby and loves a good Sumo wrestling match. After our walk and we are at the shelter door Todd loves to have an outdoor couch cuddle first and then we go back inside. He’s been around new human friends and is so good with everyone, men, women, littles, and is mildly curious in the mousers that hang around outside and pays little attention to the office kitty kats as we walk by them. Todd is really good boy and he is looking for a home with people that will love him a lot!

Meet Greyson, a cat that was brought in as a stray and never claimed. This guy is the eptiomy of an amazing cat. He is estimated to be around 1 years old, so he is out of that naughty kitten stage. He is our resident office cat which has allowed him to socialize with the other cats and visitors on the regular, he has truly blossomed recently. He is showing off his harness skills and as you can see, he is a rockstar. He has been in our care since May of this year, with no adoption interest 😢
We have SO many amazing animals in our care waiting for the perfect person(or family) to find them.
Every Duck Derby ticket purchased goes to them, the ones in our care we are keeping safe as they wait for their families to find them. All funds raised goes right back into the care of our animals, vet bills, food bills, and cleaning supplies. Our dedicated board members who plan and execute the events all do this entirely out of their passion for animals and wanting to give every animal a chance at a better life.
We are so thankful for our community and your dedication to us, ensuring we are able to help the number so many animals every single year.

Dear Willow,
Earning your trust has been one of my life’s happiest achievements. You are also the hardest goodbye after our adventure walks - your kisses are like a solid high five between two BFFs! I love that I have the chance to spend time with you almost seven days a week - your friendship and companionship fills my soul and if all the chicken snaxx aren’t proof of my love for you well then I hope it’s all the full body scratches. I don’t know about you but I think about you all day! That’s how special you are to me. I know that you’re ready for a family of your own but until that fateful day I will make you my priority, spoil you with all my love, brush your coat, massage your ears, tell you how beautiful you are, adjust your harness so it’s symmetrical when I’m taking the gazillionth photo of you, and fluff your blankets before bedtime. Jonah has been patiently waiting for his forever home to finally walk through those doors. He has been working each and everyday to come out of his shell. Once a semi feral kitten, now a young adult cat waiting for a home to start his life in. 🏠
Jonah at first is a bit timid, but strangers are sometimes a scary thing! With patience, you will find this guy is eager for love. He will let you know when he is ready for pets with a gentle nudge of your hand and he could sit and be pet as long as you're willing to do it! With a slow approach, Jonah will adjust quickly and learn to approach you with confidence, he just needs a patient human willing to let him adjust to their presence♡
Jonah loves other cats, he would do best in a home with a feline sibling to play with as having another cat helps him build some confidence! He would do best in a calm household as he still is on the timid side, but we are sure with the proper patience, he will make the perfect addition to any home willing to give him a CHANCE❤️
Our supervisor at the shelter is sponsoring 50% of his adoption fee. Which means if you take him on trial or adopt him by the end of July, he will be 0$ to his perfect home💕
Jonah has watched a lot of his friends come and go in the shelter... We hope that soon it will be his turn to have a loving home to finally start his life in🐈⬛️🧶

No words can describe last night .
It was AMAZING, the volunteers were amazing, everyone that came to support us were amazing. Brayden King and co. kept the crowd dancing all night, SO many great things to say about the evening.
Estevan Bowl catering was AH-mazing. Year after year, their food never disappoints.
All the amazing business and individuals who sponsored and donated items for our silent auction, live auction and wine pull.
Every single hour of this event was all for our animals. To further help improve our shelter, expand our capacity of care and matching more animals with their forever families!
