Tucked down in the far southeast corner of Saskatchewan in the city of Estevan - Frehlick Quarter Horses is owned by Ray and Doris Frehlick and managed by trainer Rod Thiessen. It is a training and breeding facility with a focus on producing and marketing quality, good minded horses that can go out and compete in any discipline or level of competition.
The main focus of the training program has been cutting and cowhorse. Each year brings an exciting new bunch of 3 year olds to take to the fall futurities, as well as continuing on with some of the older horses. The offspring by Chexboonsmal have proven to be talented in numerous facets of the performance horse world and are a pleasure to train and handle.
In recent years we have added a new stallion to the breeding program, which we are very excited about. Secrets Smart Cat should produce some talented offspring and will hit the show pen starting in 2019.
In the off season we devote our time to bringing along next years' show prospects as well as a few rope, barrel and ranch horses. Thanks for stopping by!
