Dr. Marcel Macfarlane from our Carnduff location Souris Valley Veterinary Services/PAHC Carnudff is attempting to run the BigHorn100 trail race this weekend held in Dayton Wyoming.

Marcel is running in a effort to raise awareness, lift stigma for those that live with mental health conditions and to act as a fundraiser for the Carnduff Fire Department.

We will be all cheering him on from home! Good luck Marcel and you've got this.

This year at the Rodeo Intermission on the Friday June 14th performance there will be something extra special. A finished market steer will be auctioned off by Mack Auction Company to help raise funds for the new St. Joseph's MRI project in Estevan. Jaycee is very special to the PAHC team and is the son of owners Carol Ross and Jeremy Ross and big brother to Sydney and Hugh.

2024 marks a special year for Jaycee as he graduates from ECS. To mark this special occasion his family raised a market steer. Jaycee has never been able to participate in 4-H like his siblings. His family wanted to give back to our community like our community has supported his siblings 4-H projects over the years.

Jaycee had his first MRI at 18 months old after a prolonged febrile seizure. The ability for our hospital to give care close to home is such a benefit for our community and to the families like us with both urgent and ongoing medical needs.

The steer does have a processing date at Western Prime on July 8th and the Ross Family can assist in taking him home after the sale and getting him to Western Prime. This is a great opportunity to fill your freezer for the summer BBQ season. Businesses there is so much good here; Donation to the MRI project, help Jaycee celebrate this milestone and divide the beef amongst your team as a great appreciation gift!
