Since opening in July of 2021, Paw.PET.ual Friends has become a favorite stop for customers from across the Peace region and beyond! We absolutely adore the environment that has been created here; where people are welcome to bring in their pets for visits and feel comfortable chatting with us about their furry (or not-so-furry) family members. There’s always a homemade treat from our kitchen to be

had, and friends to be made! We carry select premium pet foods, treat, toys and apparel, and our passionate staff members are more than willing to give customers a helping hand when it comes to choosing the best products for their pet. We believe that all pets deserve healthy, fully balanced nutrition packed with wholesome ingredients; and that these foods should be accessible and affordable. Paw.PET.ual Friends makes an effort to support Canadian brand foods and supplies first, and we are always interested in expanding or changing up what we carry to best match our values and the needs of our customers. We believe in dealing honestly for the good of pets and their families, and we're always interested in expanding and learning. As a result, our list of services and the continues to grow as new suggestions and needs arise! We also believe in caring for Mother Earth by sourcing eco-friendly products made with recycled materials, and supporting pet food brands who support the upcycling of their packaging. We are adjusting our hours for the holidays! From Monday November 11th to March 3rd, we will be open Monday-Saturday from 9am to 5pm. If you need anything after 5pm, just give us a call and we can try to accommodate that for you.

Our Product Feature this week is RuffDawg!

These are all great for playing fetch, even in water, and the bright neon colors are outdoor visible in all seasons. The balls have really good bounce, the cubes have an erratic bounce that will keep your dog guessing, and they all float!

I have a toy-destroyer at home, and he’s had his Orange XXL Ball for years. I believe Lynn Eliuk has RuffDawg toys for her two Rotties! 😁

We are now carrying products from Honey Candles, a Canadian Owned company. All Honey Candles products are made in BC with ingredients sourced from sustainable Alberta Apiaries. This means that your purchases will support local Beekeepers!
Beeswax candles burn for much longer than paraffin wax candles so even the tea lights have a 4-5hour burn time.
We even have accessories and raw beeswax, so come on by and check it out!

Coco and Bear are such sweet pups, and they both had their spaw day today.
The first time Kayla did their baths, Bear was very nervous. Today he nearly dragged his dad through the door to give her kisses!

Shedding season is here! We now have large dog Bath and Brush appointments available on Tuesdays.

Kolbie has been training with Kayla, our Groomer, to work on large dogs. Kolbie is doing very well, and is now working on Tuesdays doing Bath and Brush dogs on her own. Give us a call, or send us a message, and we can answer any questions and book your pup in for their Spaw Day!

Coffee Wood is available at Paw.PET.ual Friends.
Do you have a stick chewer? Do you have a dog that likes to chew and destroy?
Coffee Wood is great for that! It is a non-splintering wood that is safe for your pup to chew. It satisfies their natural destruction urges, and is good for their teeth. Great for dogs of all sizes!

I buy them for my big dog. He used to destroy everything he could get his mouth on, but he hasn’t destroyed any toys since I started giving him coffee wood. This is my Wikket, who loves it so much I have to have 2 of them out!

First Mate Pet Food nutrition specialists have a very valid point. Foods with chicken fat are different than foods with chicken protein. Did you know ?

Anna is trained to detect explosives. Her trainers brought her to the store yesterday to see how good she would do with all the different smells of pet foods and treats. You would think she would be distracted but she went straight to work. Of course she took a little time to smell all the goodies but remained focused on her task. You see here when she found the explosive odor product and sat until her trainer acknowledged her. That was amazing to watch!

This handsome boy was needing some good boots and stopped by paw.PET.ual friends yesterday. Here he is modelling his new pair of Muttlucks. With all the delicious smells in the store his sniffer got a workout too! It was an honor meeting you Ben.

We have one opening for grooming on Friday January 20th at 9:30am. This would be for a small dog or a cat.

NEW and FUN drinking fountains have arrived. Our friendly visitor Ezy was quite intrigued. These retail for $54 but our introductory price is $48. There are two styles available - one with a waterfall spout and one with a splashguard.
