Closed due to snow!? It is true. We’ve closed today due to snow, even though most of our dog friends LOVE then snow. The country roads are bad, and we want everyone to stay home and stay safe ❄️

This! Enrich your dogs life 💞 Understand their needs and meet them. You will both be happier and more fulfilled.

I honestly believe that everyone gets a new puppy or dog with the best intentions. I’m not sure where the breakdown happens, what information people are reading, and more importantly, how they think some things are okay.

What I’m referring to is the lack of exercise that I believe the majority of dogs do not get. It’s a question I ask in classes all the time when clients talk about how energetic their dogs are: What does your dog's exercise routine look like? You are not allowed to say "playing in the yard" (unless you live on a lot of land). The answers always make me a bit sad, as it’s usually just 2 x 20-minute leash walks a day.

We then cover the genetic component of the breeds they have. Let’s be realistic—no herding dog will be happy with that. Of course, there is always an exception, but the reality is that most dogs have behavioral problems due to boredom. Lack of mental and physical stimulation creates problem dogs. End of story.

So, I urge you to do your homework on the breed you’re thinking about getting. If you are not an active person and choose an active breed, I assure you, you’ll resent your dog in a very short period of time.

Your dogs need daily stimulation, no matter the weather, no matter how tired you are after work—you owe it to your best friend to get outside. Please remember that genetics play a huge role in your dog’s needs, so do your research thoroughly.

The picture at the bottom is of my boy Kevlar, who’s a perfect example of the saying, “If it’s too cold for you, it’s too cold for them,” not applying to him—all genetics. This guy wants to lay out there for hours.

So please, do your homework, and tell your dogs I said hi!

We are open over the holidays! Lots of people have asked!! No one loves a Christmas day walk with the dogs and family more then me, BUT Ill be cooking allll day on Christmas so I cant meet anyone at the gate for waivers.

I’m reserving the December 25th time slots for existing clients. If you’d like to bring someone with you that has NOT signed a liability waiver yet, reach out to me so we can get that done in advance.

When booking keep in mind the cancellation policy is 24hr notice.

Coming up on nearly 6 months since we opened our gates up for park rentals!! Everyday I am thankful for our furiends and clients, and so grateful to have this land to share with our extended dog community.

There are countless reasons why dogs need spaces like this. Endless really. And sometimes~ just because. Just because you can watch your dog be blissfully carefree, safe, contained and happy. And you can be worry free. Take the pictures, drink the coffee, watch, and smile.

~ bookings are confirmed when I received a negative f***l test result and up to date vac records. These can be done ONCE a year and emailed to me (email below)
~ bookings are by the hour for $25.00 which can be etransfered to [email protected]
~ 24hr cancellation notice is required, and the park is rain or shine, the dogs dont mind!
~ bring as many friends or furiends 🐶 as you’d like!!! But remember, all dogs on the property need to have the negative f***l and vac records submitted.

Happy Birthday to this 13yr old beauty. The kindest girl you’ll ever meet and the soul dog of 7Acres. Leda is sensitive, sparky and the definition of loyal. She may stick to the paths now instead of leaping through the grasses, but she never misses a walk and is always by my side.
