As we continue to mourn the loss of Jess, Gina and the Link/Baxter family would like to thank everyone for all the love and support we have received since May 9, 2022. I’m sure Jess would have been deeply touched by the incredible turnout at their Celebration of Life, as we were.

Much love and appreciation to:
• the staff and doctors at the Elk Valley hospital in Fernie
• the medical staff who accompanied Jess by ground and air ambulances
• the trauma team at the Foothills hospital in Calgary
• (funeral home) in Calgary and
• Cherished Memories in Fernie

Thank you everyone for the generous Go Fund Me donations, cards, food and drinks and hugs! Jess was very fortunate you all loved and accepted her into your lives. Whenever you think of Jess, please do so with their giant smile and sparkling eyes.

We would just like to clarify that unfortunately dogs are not welcome at the Community Centre Service but that we Welcome everyone to join us at the Railyard Dog Park following the service with their dogs. ♡

It is with a heavy heart and regret that the Link Family (Heather, Rick, Gina, Kyle, Caitlin, Evan and Cassy) Wants to let everyone know that Jess Link passed away on May 9th, 2022.

Jess was loading up their dogs for the day and unexpectedly suffered a brain aneurysm that took their precious life. We had amazing support from Fernie Ambulance, Fernie Hospital Dr's and Nurses, and Foothills Hospital in Calgary. I want to thank everyone who has taken the time to reach out and has offered up support. It is obvious now, more than ever, how big of an impact Jess has made on so many lives.

We are planning a Celebration of Life and will hope to have further details posted on their Knine Excursions page.
