Why Unicorn Club? I just want my child to ride! Is all the rest really necessary?

In Unicorn Club we ride on one day of the week and on the other we learn the skills needed to work around and own horses. We earn badges and earn the right to have independence around the horse. Safety for both horse and rider comes from knowledge and skills acquired on the ground first.

Learning Horsemanship from the ground up is the foundation of success in riding of all disciplines. There are many other benefits too! Don't take my word for it! Check out this blog !

Trit-Trot Farms Unicorn Club is starting up May 2022! This is a wonderful low cost opportunity for all kids to ride and learn about horses. https://www.unicornclubfernie.ca/

Suitable for Beginner-Advanced Intermediate level students. Advanced Students will be invited to apply for the Stable Hand Apprenticeship Program. Limited spots available. Unicorn Club will run year round!

Unicorn Club and Kids Camps at Trit-Trot Farms!

We at Trit-Trot Farms are excited to be launching a brand new kid’s program at our farm in Fernie BC. This hands on program offers boys and girls of all ages (4-16) an opportunity to learn all about proper horse care and safe horsemanship from the ground up. We are committed to providing a fun and safe introduction to horses and overall farm life. We know the incredible benefits animals bring to children and we are thrilled to be launching this club for the kids in our community!

Summer Camps at Trit-Trot

Our emphasis is always on the rider/horse relationship, safety and in developing proper horsemanship early in the camper’s life. Your child will be exposed to all aspects of care for not only the horse, but also the stable he lives in.
