We are a family run kennel located near Fillmore (less than an hour outside of Regina)...on the beautiful prairies of Saskatchewan, Canada. We have a large rural property where our Berners have plenty of room to run, play, and explore. We are a mother daughter team, Karla Hanson and Brooke Zanzen and we live here with Gypsy and Bear, and all our other wonderful Bernese Mountain Dogs. We feel Berne

se Mountain Dogs are the perfect family and companion dog. Not only are they beautiful with their soft long coats, but they are incredibly loyal, affectionate and the perfect family guardian. As a breed, they have an easy-going calm and loving temperament. They love human attention and companionship… love and protect their family... and are gentle with cats, other dogs, friends, and small children. Berners will follow their family anywhere...on walks, hikes, camping, and car rides. They are eager to be trained and eager to please… just to be close to you. I have heard that most Berners don’t like water, but our dogs love it! We take them on daily hikes through the fields and it usually ends with a good swim in the pond. We have carefully selected our breeding dogs for excellent health and longevity. They have excellent bloodlines and have been DNA tested as 100% pure bred Bernese Mountain Dogs. (which their pedigree papers also show) DNA testing has also shown our dogs to be free and clear of any genetic markers of disease. Our breeding dogs are CKC registered and have passed veterinarian heart tests and OFA tests for patellar, hips, elbows, and eyes. Our puppies are CKC registered, dewormed, vet checked, microchipped, and have their first shots. They are sold with a nonbreeding contract, and a written 18 month health guarantee. We had been getting ready for the puppies’ first vet visit… puppy box was clean and disinfected, fresh p*e pads laid neatly in a row, puppies all had a bath and were told to be on their best behaviour…. 5 minutes before the vet arrived, this happened!😫 Pure chaos and destruction!!!🐾🤣 LOL…Sigh❤️

It was a long night for our sweet Rosie but she was amazing… bringing these 12 little pups into the world! All of them happy and healthy… 6 boys and 6 girls. .. eating well and sleeping well.🥰
A couple days of rest for everyone, and then we’ll post a few more pics!

❤️🐾PUPPIES expected Dec 8th!!!

Our sweet Rosie is expecting!😁 We headed off to the vet yesterday and it looks like she’ll be having a pretty big litter. The vet counted 12 puppies… possibly even 13. This is Rosie’s first litter, so we’ll be extra careful keeping an eye on her in these next two weeks.❤️
