So...I filled my first large Ground Grazer from a round bale this morning...if my scale is correct, it holds 25-30 pounds of hay.
The small Ground Grazers hold approx 8pounds of hay.
I am now considering changing the design, and putting the opening on the short side, instead of the long side I found it a bit annoying to fill it full, and get the velcro closed. 🤔
I switched the small Ground Grazers opening to the long side as well...but filling my older style is pretty easy.
Any thoughts from people who have filled them alot more then I have?
A little long...but I thought I would show an easy way to fill a small Ground Grazer, with hay from a round bale! It took approximately 3 minutes to fill 3 bags!

Yes, I look like a hot mess...but I am pretty toasty in my skirt!
This one was a trial run, Half Circle Skirt with front and back zippers. I DO NOT like doing zippers, so it was the only one I made, and it is not adjustable in the waist at all.
If I made one like it again, it would not have the zippers and would have more of an overlap in front for coverage....so it could be adjustable, and no hated zippers!
