This is one of my favorite moments as a dog trainer, when the dog understands and respects the commands given! 😊 This is Miss Ice, she is a fun, sweet, very energetic 15 month old puppy that came to me to learn some basics and learn to control herself. She also needs to practice show ring etiquette for conformation, with all the fun distractions around her. She has impressed me with her willingness to work and her cheeky personality. She has picked up very well in the 3 weeks being with me for board and train. We are going onto week 4 with big confidence.🐾 Board and Train is not a "quick fix" to magically have your dog behave. It takes many hours, patience, trial-and-error moments and realistic expectations! When the dogs go home the owner is to keep up with the training or the dog will quickly decline into old habits. The training NEVER stops! ☺️ The video below is Ice in her crate waiting to for the "OK" command so she can come out of the crate. She is to wait even with the distractions of my other dogs, noise, food and kids playing. She totally rocked this 👏 Great job Ice! 🧊🥳
