hin Canada. Dog Rescue need a second chance. They have been abused, abandoned, lost and given up. They love you unconditionally. Will you love them the same?

*Our Mission*
To rescue and love the neglected. To bring awareness of the joys of adopting a rescue dog. To spay or neuter dogs to help prevent and control the overpopulation. To educate society about the ways to appropriately care for a dog. To improve animal rights legislation. To help families find a dog that is compatible with their lives.

*Our Vision*
A nation where dogs are treated with solicitude and respect. Adopting is one of the best things you can do. When you adopt, you are not just giving a deserving dog a home. Meet Lola! 🐾 🥰 👏 🎉 🐶 tailsofthenorth.ca/adopt

Adoptable - 2-years old American Bulldog, Lab mix. ❤️

Sweetie alert! Lola came to us from the City of Hamilton Animal Services where they found her as a stray.

She is a hugger! Lola is so happy to explore or cuddle with you - you choose!

Lola loves dogs, the car, walking, exploring and is also great with cats. She knows commands such as sit, stay and paw. It is clear she was someone’s dog, but unfortunately Hamilton is becoming the wild west for stray dogs.

Lola was found infested with fleas and is regrowing her hair back. She is crate trained and house trained. Lola redirects with ease and really just aims to please and show you her true potential!

She wants nothing more than to be your best friend and show you she’s meant to be your forever!

This is absolutely disgusting! We’ve been speaking out about this so called “rescue” for a while. The only victims here are the volunteers and dogs. Shame on you - you are the furthest thing from a rescue. Thanks Travelling Tails K9 Rescue for exposing this!

Without you we would not be a successful rescue that is 100% volunteer run without 1 paid employee.

Please consider making a donation, if you are able - you are the reason why we are able to write the next chapter in rescue dogs lives.

Woof! Thank you

Ever wonder why a dog rescue is overrun with female dogs?! It's because in the majority of situations, there are more female dogs in dog rescue than males. You'll see from our adoptable dogs, we currently only have female dogs. Why? Because female dogs are the majority of the ones dumped, left abandoned with their puppies and procreating to cause the crisis that we are in today!

Choosing to spay and neuter your pet will not only will help them live healthier and longer, but this one-time procedure will also help control overpopulation and decrease the number of animals at risk of ending up homeless each year.

Please be responsible!
