We are on evacuation alert - we aren't on evacuation order yet. However going around trying to pack all the things that are truly irreplaceable (Asia's ashes, my cross stitches) and things I don't care about (so much junk!) is bringing me back to 2016. Long lineups at the gas stations, so many social media posts about what's going on, what to pack, when to leave.

In the middle of losing my mind I'm also trying to think of what I'd tell the kids in my program:

Don't be afraid. We'll take care of each other. We learned from the first time. We can turn to each other for support and strength.
