We regret to inform our clients that Aurora Veterinary Clinic has closed. We’d like to thank our staff for their many years of service. We appreciate their hard work and dedication to the profession. We enjoyed working with the community to help improve the lives of many fur babies and to provide comfort when needed and we thank our many clients. Dr Powell and Mr Arsenault would also like to thank the Fort McMurray veterinary community, in particular their friend, Dr Gilbert, for their continued service and assistance. Lastly, Dr Powell would like to thank her spouse and her children for their love and support. We’ve provided Dr Gilbert at the FMAH clinic files. Any cremation ashes and paw prints will also be provided to affected clients once you’ve been contacted by the FMAH. Please show patience and kindness to the remaining veterinary professionals as they are there to aid you in the days ahead.

Happy Valentine’s Day! As you shower your animals with love on this day, please remember to keep them safe and away from chocolate and any other treats you may be enjoying.

Chocolate and alcohol are poisonous for pets, as is anything containing the sugar substitute xylitol.

Sponsoring the Huskies Hockey program provides support to the four female travel teams, two Intro to Hockey U9 teams, local events such as World Girls Hockey Day, female player and coach development and a scholarship program!
