Reminder:
Prescriptions and prescription refills must be picked up with in 72 hours or they will be returned into inventory. This will create a delay for you if you come to pick up after this time frame. Please help us to make sure your pets are getting their treatments and medications needed.

Hours - Monday to Wednesday 9am-4pm for appointments; Thursday and Friday 1-4pm for food sales or prearranged prescription pick up.

Services currently provided : Routine wellness exams, vaccines, food/supplements/treats, nail trims, in house lab services, radiographs, prescription refills, spay/neuter.

If you are interested in having you pet spayed or neutered please contact the clinic to be scheduled or put on our list.

Emergency services are NOT available, both during business hours and after hours. If you have an emergency please connect with a clinic in FSJ. We are a limited staff and part time clinic that currently cannot offer this service.

If you are concerned about your pet please do not wait until the end of the workday or 10pm at night to report that your pet hasn’t been doing well for days/weeks/months and expect that we are able to provided services. If your pet is declining or you notice something just isn’t quite right please do not wait until they are in a state of crisis, contact the clinic when your concerns first start and we will book an appointment accordingly.

If an emergency does happen during our hours of operation we may not able to provide services and will refer you to FSJ.

We will NOT tolerate foul language, bullying, or disrespect towards any of our staff members. We understand that things happen and emergencies do happen, and recognize that it can be stressful and scary for all involved.

Be patient with us and we will provide services where and when we can.

PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT Dr Kotchea or any of the staff on their private phone numbers or social media. We also ask that the Far North Mechanical team not be asked about anything related to veterinary medicine or the clinic, they work on plumbing and heating, not pets. If you do, they will ask that you directly contact the clinic.

We want to provide the best care possible to your companions, but it quickly becomes exhausting for all staff of the clinic when we are receiving multiple messages or calls regarding questions about pets outside of business hours. Most often these questions can wait until business hours, if you feel it may be an emergency please contact the emergency services available in FSJ.

Welcome home everyone! Now that we are back from exacuation the clinic will need some maintenance cleaning and inventory checks. This means we are going to be closed this week to catch up. I may open intermittently if anyone is in dire need of food or other over the counter items.

For those with appointments this week, these will need to be rescheduled. Once organized we will be reaching out to all those that had appointments during these last few weeks. Vets without Borders is offering telehealth services in the mean time! Please refer to your re-entry sources.
