Went to help some friends move cows and was able to put the first ride on this nice 4 year old draft cross gelding. Pretty special to start one out right!

Due to some cancellations I now have two open spots for April and May for ranch miles. This is a great opportunity to have horses get miles or tuned up before a summer of riding! This time of year is calving season on the ranch so horses will see lots of miles across all types of terrain, moving cows, roping and sorting. Lame cows mean a chance to catch a trusty bridle horse and do some roping. All Bar CJ ranch horses are used to rope and doctor on the ranch, no matter if it’s a finished bridle horse or a young c**t just starting out. Great way to see the results of all the hard work put into these great horses!

Hello, I’m Cavin Jones, I’m a working ranch cowboy working between Fort St John and Dawson Creek. This page will be used to advertise broke ranch horses, started prospects, and training opportunities. I was raised riding horses and working cattle and have been a working cowboy for the past three years. I have experience riding feedlot, large gathers, brandings, sorting, and roping.
