Well I don’t think I have ever harvested raspberries in October. These golden ones I guess if given enough time will fruit twice in a year. Yum.

Our new columnar crab apple is happy and flowering. It even has a few bees enjoying the blossoms.

Kiddo picks the garden theme every year. This year it’s French fries. So our friends at helped us pick the variety and we are going to grow Lady Amarilla in containers and in the main garden bed. We hypothesis that growing in the main garden bed will result in more French fry worthy potatoes but hope the pot version will grow some. What are your thoughts?

Some times when the weather does not cooperate you go plant in the rain :) garden 2024 seed planting is done. With some cool temps the next few nights I’ll wait on planting my larger plants.

This is one of the proudest achievements of my career. This is a wildlife bridge allowing animals to safely cross highway 1 east of Canmore. It took a team but man oh man am I ever proud to have lead one of the teams that made this possible.
