Eeeeeek!!! We are beyond humbled and grateful for a wonderful donation of rib ends and trimmings, smoked large bones, trail mix, chicken chews and smoked small bone marrow medallions/ ribs for dogs in care compliments of our beautiful friends at Dear Dog Treats!!!!!

Did you know raw bones for dogs are essential because they support digestion, clean teeth, mentally stimulate, strengthen the jaw and mouth, ease anxiety, and provide essential nutrients like calcium. A dog's diet should include about 10-15% edible bone and, chewy stops the chatter!

Chewy bones and enrichment support mental and physical health for dogs in care, especially sanctuary animals that won't move to the adoption floor. Bone enrichment helps ease stress and anxiety and who doesn't love a good smoked bone?!

The generosity of Dennis and his team left us in tears. We were so incredibly blessed by this donation that we were able to share with our friends from Alberta Lost Pet Locator and Rescue Society who have many medical fosters and sanctuary animals in care. Founder Marie reached out a few weeks in search of bones and scraps to supplement feeding programs in the rescue and we were delighted to be able to spread the love!

We are beyond grateful for the support of local businesses like Dear Dog Treats.

Our sanctuary dogs go nuts for Dear Dog Treats and for the fussy eaters, the trail mix is a perfect topper to get them to eat!!!
