Species: Sun Conures

S*x: Male and Female. Bonded pair.

Tame: Yes.

Age: Jube-Jube: Just turned 3 (dna provided). Jolly Rancher just turned 4 (hatch certificate).

Lifespan: Up to 30 years.

Banded: Yes.

Apartment Friendly: Absolutely not! Can be VERY loud!

Breeders: Yes, but not proven. They have had 3 sets of 3 egg clutches over the Fall/Winter, however the eggs were not fertile. They could just be trying to figure things out, as they are still young.

Special Needs: No.

Diet: Tropican 4mm Lifetime Pellets. Veggies, nuts, treats.

Other Bird Friendly: Yes. They haven’t had a problem with the rest of my flock.

Additional Notes: These two are sweet as pie, but can be very loud! They will make great pets while having the potential there to breed, if wanted.

Age: Both are 7 this year.
Lifespan: 25 years.
Banded: Yes.
Apartment Friendly: Possibly.
Breeders: Yes. Proven by past owner.
Special Needs: No.
Diet: Roudybush California and Tropican 2mm Lifetime Pellets. Veggies, nuts, treats.
Other Bird Friendly: Not tested.
Additional Notes: Female plucks her chest during breeding season.

❤️ Going to a home with a familiar face! 🎉 ❤️

BASIL 🌿
Species: Derbyan Parakeet
S*x: Male
Tame: No.
Age: 20 years old.
Lifespan: 30ish years.
Banded: Yes.
Apartment Friendly: No. He has a loud call. He is loud at my house, but it could be triggered by the other birds.
Special Needs: He needs his beak trimmed every few months. (He is very easy, I can show you, or do it for you.)
Diet: Pellets. He likes a mix of Roudybush California, Tropican 4mm Lifetime pellets, Tropimix (he really just likes the nuts and fruit in it). Seeds as a treat only.
Other Bird Friendly: Not tested, but I think he’d be ok.
Additional Notes: Basil had a mate who recently passed away with suspected Fatty Liver Disease from 20 years of seed eating. As bad as this sounds, he doesn’t seem to be missing her. He’s downstairs in my breeding room, but since his mate passed, I think he would enjoy the attention and prefer to be in the main area of the house. I am not able to provide this for him.

Species: Green Cheek Conure
S*x: Female and Male. Bonded pair
Tame: Yes
Age: Archie: 12 years old. Louie: 5 years old.
Lifespan: Up to 30 years.
Banded: Archie-yes. Louie-no.
Apartment Friendly: Yes. These two are usually quiet.
Breeders: Not recommended. They have had fertile eggs, but did not look after their babies when they hatched.
Special needs: No
Diet: Tropican Pellets 4mm size only. (They’re weird with the smaller 2mm size.) Veggies, nuts, treats.
Other Bird Friendly: Depends on the bird. Send me a message to discuss.
Additional Notes: These two would be a sweet addition to any family. Archie can be very shy and quiet but will step up and hang out without issue. Louie likes to cuddle into your neck and loves attention. He can be nippy occasionally, as all conures are.
Adoption eeF (read that backwards 😉): 3️⃣⭕️⭕️ for both.

Sad news: We lost one of our “core four” budgies just now. 😢 Blueberry-Popsicle was my youngest son’s budgie. She was one of the four that I brought home from the petstore, and inspired all of this craziness. ❤️

I am cooking supper, so naturally the smoke detector goes off. 🙉
Quincey the Amazon starts screaming, Clyde the Amazon starts doing his stressed call, Lulu the Congo African Grey calls out: “Uhhhhhh ohhhhhhh!”, Ozzy the Timneh African Grey completely mimics the sound of the smoke detector, right down to the exact pitch, and then Quincey the Amazon yells at everybirdie to “STOP IT!” Haha

Hopefully you can picture that, and it makes you smile, because personally, I can’t stop laughing. 😂

We welcomed another Ozzy into our family, yesterday! This is Ozzy the Timneh African Grey! 🩵
He is doing well so far! A little timid and shy, but that is to be expected with such a big life change.
