Lilly’s Feathered Friends started as a small rescue in Kitchener, Ontario and has since blossomed into a full Rescue and Aviary with two locations across the Eastern side of Canada. With our main location now in Fredericton, NB and our secondary location in Kitchener, Ontario, Lilly’s offers a safe and loving environment for any and all feathered friends who are in need. All our rescue birds are v

et checked and put on healthy diets with lots of attention and love. Once these beautiful rescue birds are ready, Lilly’s Feathered Friends will either find them the perfect forever home or have them join our sanctuary. The aviary portion of Lilly’s is in a completely separate section away from all rescue birds for the health of our breeders and babies. All our babies come with a hatch certificate, care sheet, are handfed and raised around children. Depending on the species of bird, they will also come banded and fully vaccinated against Avian Polyomavirus. We have a stunning male eclectus looking for his forever home! Handtame, loves attention, will hang out with you all day if you let him lol He does not seem to have a preference between men and women however isn't too fond of children. He is a typical male with the loud screeching call at sunrise and sunset. He is on a set bedtime schedule and doesn't like noise after lights out. He has a large vocabulary and loves water! He is banded 2003. He needs regular beak and nails trims as he's not a huge toy chewer. You must have a suitable sized cage and large bird experience. PM for more details if interested. A bucket full of beautiful babies! 🐦

Meet our six remaining lovebird babies! These beauties are handtame, fully weaned, and ready to go to their forever homes.

All 5 babies on the left are healthy and were NOT exposed to any of the toxins from the previous post.

The single lovebird on the far right is our little fighter! Through meds and pure determination, this little one is the sole survivor from the exposed equipment. He will be rehomed as a special needs bird as we cannot guarantee the long term effects of the exposure. However, baby is eating and playing like normal.

They are all ready to go today!

Please note I have four brand new Beaks! Cages available (18x18x28) and a variety of toys for purchase.

🪹🪺 It's been awhile since we have done a Nest News Update as we have been working through a lot of changes and some unfortunate events.

We had a very successful breeding season the last few months but had a terrible turn of events. What we first thought was bad formula, we have discovered was actually toxic pesticides on some brand new handfeeding supplies. We lost almost three dozen babies within 24 hours 😔.

That being said, we do have a few babies who were not exposed and looking for forever homes. Our following post will have more details. Thank you to everyone for your patience and understanding during this trying time. ❤️
